Eh, I used to feel this way about the '87 series. I was sure season 2 was the end since the season finale seemed like a series finale with the Technodrome sinking into the lava.

Yeah, it goes to show how online streaming changed everything. The 2k3 series aired right before online streaming took off, the early 2000's to about 2009 was pretty much the last time TV ratings really mattered. Once you got into the 2010 decade they didn't matter as much.

You care about the show when you were younger - it was part of your life-enjoyment and you were looking for some data to support what you liked. Ratings fluctuate and as a young man, react impulsively to the information and wanted to discuss it here with other fans.
