I also saw Halloween. It was alright, but I hoped for something more than just the same thing again. That's what I get for having faith.

Just came home from Venom. I really liked it, it was a fun ride with the Venom without Spidey concept and it worked. It had a very early 2000 movie pacing but it wasn't jarring enough to ruin the movie.

Finally got around to catching Black Panther. The male lead is good and the story surrounding him, but was particularly impressed with the amount of girl power in that film. Now that's the way to do it.

Recently finished Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Previously saw Pirate Radio, Halloween 2018, & Venom. I plan to watch Revenge of the Nerds sometime soon. |

Hardcore Henry, that was a awesome movie with some great use of music and the action was fast paced without being too confusing.
Minor gripe is that the FPS aspect isn't perfect, I feel it'd be a bit better if the field of view showed more and less arms taking so much screen space. |

Finally got a chance to see Ready Player One. Yeah, mostly I'd wanted to see it for the Turtles, but overall a fun movie.

A couple of movies made by The Asylum [movie production group.]
Merlin And The War Of The Dragons. Dragonquest. (The movie does not relate to the Akira Toriyama game franchise in any sort of way.) Both movies are corny and at least worth a bag of popcorn if you want to kill some time, or stay in for the night. |

I watched Your Name and Flavors of Youth, two "artsy" anime films, I hadn't watched anime in a while and wasn't looking forward to seeing them but I liked them, here is my review of them.
I want to watch some X-Mas movies before christmas but I'm not sure if I'll be able to. I added 3 to my netflix queue but unsure if i'll get to them. |

Netflix Mowgli is pretty decent, and a slightly dark... Maybe not one for the young kiddies.
Spoiler:
But those are some seriously dirty, greasy looking animals. Someone take a river and shampoo to that bear... Bears don't normally look that gross. lol |

My wife and I are very curious about "Mowgli". I value your opinion, Indigo and DF; would you personally recommend it? You both kinda know by now what I'm "into", movie-wise.
All the reviews I've seen only go on about "The CGI is poor compared to Disney's version" (no sh*t, don't care), and of course, the mandatory "Disney already did this so nobody else should be allowed, how dare they," etc. etc. I've heard much about this one being more faithful to the books, and darker than Disney's take. Those are both good things, to me. Taking the CGI off the table, since you know that's not a factor for me either way, do you think I'd enjoy it?

^ If you want a movie to have a darker and more of a 'grown-up' take from it's Disney animated counterpart, then you'll probably like Mowgli.
Beauty and the Beast wasn't bad either. It shares similarities to the animated classic plus, it borrows a section from the original story. |

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. Easily one of the best comic book movies ever made, if not the best one. I can't wait to watch it again.

Aquaman. It was a blast! Highly recommended in 3D. I had as much fun watching this as I did with Thor: Ragnarök.

This was posted earlier, just in the wrong thread. Oops.
Revenge of The Nerds. Ghost Rider. (I even saw this when it was in theaters years ago.) Hellboy. |

Aquaman. Highly recommend it.
The Equalizer 2. Good, but not quite as good as the first one.

Incredibles 2.
That was a pretty good movie The Hangover 1, 2 & 3. Y'know, then it happens more then once it's not an accident. I really enjoyed all three, hadn't seen 3 before and forgotten enough about 2 that most of it felt new John Wick 2. It was on Netflix, the first one wasn't. But you don't need to see 1 to get what's going on in 2. It was a fun movie with some cool fight scenes |

I finally got to see Infinity War and The Predator the other day.
Let's just say that, I'm looking forward to seeing I.W. Part 2, while I wonder if The Predator will even get another movie made. |
