As long as they change up her look a bit; I'm getting a tad tired of all the X-Men being blue. Beast, Nightcrawler, Mystique...

I don't see why they'd bother including Vanessa if they were never going to have her become Copycat at some point. They could have given Wade a completely normal human love interest in that case.

Francis is the one who told us that, and he wasn't the most trustworthy of narrators. So maybe not?

Plus, I mean, not to get too crass, but she is fluid bonded to Wade.

I rewatched "The Wolverine" this weekend, and I can't help but think the new guard they talk about at Fox felt comfortable with Deadpool because of the success of The Wolverine...it's a very good and adult movie...lots of blood and gore, cursing, violence, etc...

The Wolverine is surprisingly awesome, I prefer the extended and unrated cut. Going into it I didn't think that it would be as good as it turned out, I got a bad feeling that the sequel isn't going to be as good as the Wolverine.

The movie still has a lousy third act. Next time I watch the movie, I'll probably turn it off after Wolverine's duel with the uncle...

Love that part...I have to say the stuff w/ the ninjas and Logan in the small town is AWESOME...The giant robot old man...it's not terrible, but it wasn't necessary.

I can't stop thinking about this movie and where it may go in the sequels...I really do hope the next movie is maybe Deadpool vs Cable, where Deadpool is the villain, and Cable is the good guy...I know this sounds like the plot of Batman v Superman, but it can be done in a completely different way. In BvS we're assuming B&S are both good...Deadpool vs Cable; Deadpool can be the badguy. This way it could stay relatively low budget, and introduce a bigger threat that can continue in the X-Force movie.

That was a scene shown in the trailers that wasn't in the actual movie, When Vanessa says "I played many roles, a dansel in distress isn't one of them." it was a way to reference that she is a shape shifter.

Perhaps she will reveal herself as a mutant in Deadpool 2, since she is an important character from the comics.
