Where do you think the "Tales From The Turtle Lair" animated comics would fit in? I haven't seen all the aired episodes yet

A couple of notes: "New Friend, Old Enemy" is specified as taking place in early July, and in "The Gauntlet" Leo refers to their adventures as taking place in the "past couple months". So we're probably in September by now.

... I had another tidbit, but forgot. Damn.

Definitely a little bit before "Rise of the Turtles".

Awesome! Thanks! are you going to keep this updated as each new episode comes out? If they fit elsewhere in the line up that is.

I don't pay extremely close attention to the details of this series; why would Turtle Temper come a little after other episodes? It was the third aired, wasn't it?

I don't think it fits in at all. Seeing how Leo is leader before they hit topside.

Some people felt certain plot points in that episode (like how April was getting information on the Kraang) were better explained in later episodes, hence it may've been meant to air later on in the series.

I'm gonna update it with each new episode. It seems like they got on top of things once "Monkey Brains" aired though.

Right you are. I should have taken notes on my last watch through, since I forgot a lot of minor details.

But I felt like New Friend, Old Enemy would be 2nd since Shredder wouldn't dawdle too much getting to NYC, then I like Metalhead early as possible since that's when April sets up her Kraang info forum online. I probably had a reason for putting Baxter before Temper (other than Don's nagi), but just looking at the order now it feels better to not group up Kraang run ins.

I was thinking after Rise of the Turtles just because Leonardo is the leader in it

I guess I should rewatch it, but I'm pretty sure it was meant to be a prequel. I remember Mikey not knowing what pizza was at the end.

Could it be a prequel to the future comics?

I doubt it. It was done solely by Nickelodeon, and the new comics are being done by IDW (with Nickelodeon approving scripts and art of course). I might ask Bobby Curnow one of these days, if it seems more likely in the future.

Right after I, Monster for now.

I'm thinking about putting Never Say Xever before Monkey Brains though. It would flow better considering their precaution at the beginning of "Xever" & the events of Turtle Temper.

It should work so long as there's no tphone or mention of April's training, since those both started in Monkey Brains.

Alien Agenda takes place one night after New Girl in Town, as said during the Leo/Karai battle.

The appearance of the Mouser head makes it tough too, but I think the motion comic on the Nick site can fit just fine if you ignore a couple pesky details. It's style and tone work VERY well with the show, and several people in an official capacity worked on it.

Plus,. I like the story. What can I say? I want it to fit because I liked it...

You're mistaken. When Leo said "last night" he was referring to the opening scene when Karai was spying on them and the Kraang.

The biggest problem is they'd never had pizza, but Leo was leader
