I'm sensing something akin to a more dictatory form of the kind of being we commonly know as a CyberCube...

I find it funny though, saying there is no such thing as an objective opinion.
Isn't that in itself an objective claim in it of itself? |

I can say "My opinion is that it is raining outside" but that does not make it an opinion, it is a fact (if it is indeed raining outside) I can say "Chicken pot pie is objectively good" but that is not a fact it is still just an opinion, because some people still may not feel the same

Ehh...
Don't twist it around. Millennials are people born around the millennium. Hence the name. It isn't anyone born before or grew up. It is pretty clear. Don't twist it around far left friend. Powder. Yes it is. We've never really seen eye to eye, but I always have loved your work man. I guess in reality... it is my objective opinion based on evidence from life experiences and some factual evidence. I mean don't be so squirrelly about it. |

To be fair millennials should be named for kids born in 2000 or later. No idea why it's used for 80's/90's kids.

It has nothing to do when you were born, but when you grew up.
I think of it this way: If you were a young child at the turn of the Millennium and have enough memory or comprehension to recall it, you're a Millennial. It's when a person's formative years were, and for me, as an example, that was more in the early 2000's than the 90's.

Even if it is raining outside, someone can still have have an opinion about it. Facts aren't opinions I agree, but opinions can be based in fact. Those are what I refer to when I say "Objective opinions" |

However that is a factually incorrect statement. Because opinions by definition are subjective.

Facts are things that are irrefutably true (for the purpose of this conversation we're referring to scientific facts, not facts in the sense of spiritual truths or anything like that). Facts are backed-up by evidence. It is a fact that humans can only see a small fraction of the electromagnetic spectrum, the portion in between infrared and ultraviolet known as "visible light". My opinion is that it would be cool if we could perceive beyond that, but that does not make it a fact-based opinion. It is just my personal, subjective feeling because I think it would be cool. "Cool" is always a matter of opinion Quote:
Could you provide an example?
