References to the 2012 series you see in other TMNT itterations.
I had the idea for this thread when seeing something on the "Out of the shadows" PC game, which has nothing in common with the movie of the same name.
Which, although it takes place in a universe of its own, is very much based off the 2012 series. - Donnie's gap tooth and crush on April - Raph's cracked plastron To name but a few things. But then just remembered watching that said movie and there were a couple of scenes which made me go "That's straight out of the 2012 series." - That scene with the dump truck where the wall opens up, and it enters the streets, that's very much that scene from "The Pulverizer" when the Shellraiser is introduced. Down to the guys panicking when the wall is getting closer and closer, until Donnie opens up the wall, so they can drive out. - Also Krang mentioning "The Kraang" when slapping Shredder's face and the fact that the Technodrome itself is an orb shaped spaceship, is straight out of the 2012 series. - Noel Fisher's voice acting of Michelangelo is very much aping Greg Cipes' depiction of the character. I'm pretty sure that was intentional, they simply sound too much alike. Heck I also see a LOT of the 2012 series in the Mateus Santolouco drawn editions of the IDW comic book series. April basically wears a more grown up version of her 2012 series counterpart's outfit and although less pronounced, Donnie has a gap tooth. So have you guys seen things in other versions of TMNT which reference the 2012 series?
