The 355
What do you guys think of this? Does it look like it'll be the next big hit? So far it's only made 1 million against a 75 million dollar budget. A lot of reviews praising how important it is, and explaining away the box office with Omicron: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/mo...on-1235071821/

We all know why that is. And that's why nobody's going.

As soon as I saw the thumbnail I had a bad feeling about it
Yep. A movie with female leads that doesn't even try to conceal its agenda. See, I'd have no problem with this movie if it didn't have such a blatant agenda. No one thought Charlie's Angels was that in your face about it. And I'm a fan of anime series with strong lead female characters like You're Under Arrest, Dirty Pair or Bubblegum Crisis. Because they're fun action series that just happen to have female characters as leads instead of something made just to impose an agenda. But the woke folks don't understand this and think everything has to be black or white. So to them, my post probably reeks off incelish misogyny. |

But I still prefer developing an original spy movie instead of exposing James Bond to forced gender swapping.

Why are they saying that this movie is so important? Or I should say, what is so important about this movie?

I didn't realize this was a Simon Kinberg joint. Maybe this breaks his streak of failing upward, inexpicably.

I saw Licorice Pizza in the theater tonight. Probably at least 355x better than whatever this is. These studios really aren't learning... they must love to lose money with stuff like this still getting a green light.

It's not about the money, it's about sending a message.

A message that we haven't largely needed for decades now, was sent at least 35 years ago in film as a media, and has been done better, organically and without accusation such as "if you don't support this then you are a patriachical problem".
