TMNT: Utrom Empire TPB inc. ORIGINAL FUGITOID!!!

Look at this!

Spoiler:

IDW included reprint of original "Fugitoid" ("Mirage", 1985) in "Utrom Empire"! Maybe even in new color!

Well that's a nice added bonus, especially since the Fugitoid issue wasn't in the Ultimate collections.

But uh...what's with the massive typo in his name? Fujitoid? WTF?

I'm glad that this trade wasn't only 3 issues and the Fugitoid one-shot is an added bonus.

Kind of odd to see a Mirage comic in an IDW collection though, because the people who don't buy the IDW trades (since they get the single issues), won't get this Mirage issue.

But still this is a nice treat.

Including original Fugitoid is a nice touch. That's a 37 page story! I'd say it more than fills out the page count of the TPB on what would otherwise be a three-issue collection.

Man, I forgot that issue was 37 pages. Quite a big bonus!

That's awesome news! Glad that the issue will finally get reprinted and into the hands of those who haven't had the chance to read or own a copy before!

This is a great surprise. I've been going digital on the IDW reboot while collecting TPBs as they release. Admittedly I was a little bugged thinking this TPB was going to be slim pick-ins...I'm glad to be wrong.

I asked about getting the Fugitoid story packed in to a Classics or Tales book about a year ago. Its great to see its finally being printed and most likely in color.

According to "The Fifth Turtle" post above, it looks like it's in the original Black & White format.

It is indeed. Black and white or color, it's still cool to have.

So the Fugitoid issue hasn't been colored for sure?

If it has the date, they'll get that it's from another time in TMNT history.
