Dave Stevens

Anyone else a fan of the late great Dave Stevens & his clean, clear lines & pinup ladies? I've gotten hooked on his artwork & picked up a few different books. I've already noticed that his stuff got reprinted in various places with new book titles & new covers yet the interior stuff is the same few stories over & over.

Probably better artist than storyteller… but his art really is timeless, the ladies especially.

I've always had a soft spot for the Rocketeer movie and books. I love his work on that and some of his amazing pin-up covers as well.
For a while, I was searching for a nice copy of his Planet Comics 1 cover, but never acquired one. Maybe one day, when I get back into collecting.

That one is next on my want list. Its just a matter of finding a decent copy at a great price.

Going for graded or a raw copy? I was searching for a higher graded raw. But it would be cool to display as graded.

Probably raw because I want to thumb through it to see whats actually there. Unless a high grade graded copy comes up for super cheap. Lol.
