It's "over" but i'm still required to wear a mask multiple times a day where I live. Until it's downgraded to 'strongly advised but not required' and STAYS that way, people being required to wear masks will remain a constant reminder about the pandemic, meaning we can not move forward. We are stuck in this state of, "but the pandemic..." that holds so much **** back and gives so many people and companies excuses to slack off of their responsibilities in this society.

They'll probably leave the mandate stuff up to the states, so if your state wants to you to wear a mask, you'll probably have to.

CDC already said masks should be optional... but Cali is fubar'd. Lol

Maybe just stop wearing it & tell off anyone who tells you to wear a mask. Then tell them to follow the science of the cdc & who (i believe both have now said masks don't work or at least heavily implied it)...

What confuses me is aren't they supposed to be releasing a 'new and improved' vax in November or something? What will be the push for it then if 'the pandemic is over?'. Will it suddenly 'return' until the democrats win the primaries?

NJ's Covid Force Field has remained intact since the beginning, so frankly, over here the pandemic was "over" about three weeks after it started.

Must be all the lead in the drinking water. OR the fact that collectively we're all a bunch of potheads and a high THC concentration has been proven to block Covid from penetrating the cells (Gospel Truth). Whatever it is, everybody here's been more or less Fine and Dandy.

We got hit with that nasty Flu bug I had back in the Spring, that zipped through the state like wildfire and kept everybody down for a few weeks. But everybody who had that said it was WAY worse than Covid; Covid was a f*cking breeze for most folks over here, 2-3 days tops and a little fever, but that Spring Flu put a few people in the hospital or in bed for a month, no joke.

We're a different breed, here. That's why they sell those "NJ: Where The Weak Are Killed And Eaten" shirts at the Boardwalk. But yeah we told Covid to go pet sh*t with the NYC chickens right at the start and shockingly, that's exactly what Covid did.

Eh, that's not really the expectation. That's never been the expectation except by the crazies early on and on an ongoing basis saying we need to fight for "0 COVID."
