If you want your site and message board to be more popular, you will have to advertise. Here are some tips.

1.Webrings-Find Webrings that are about certain shows that you have on your site and enter you site. Be sure not to forget to put in html code they give you.(it the least you can do for them for putting your site on their webring.)

2.Message Boards and forums-If you know a message board that allow site plugs, put yours in as well.(You can advertise your site on my Message Board if you want to.)

3.Friends' sites-If you know friends that have their own sites, ask them to put a link to your site to their web page.

4.Top 50, or 100, or whatever.- don't forget(I almost did ) the ranking link sites, because the higher you site gets on the rank, the more people will see it.

5.Take oportunity as it comes-If you know a site that can let the public post their sites at will, do so. Lelola.com has something like that called "Free-4-All Links"

Hope this helps

"Webrings". Wow I remember how those were the "must have trend" for linking to anything back in the day. I remember eagerly clicking through them on sites for "Iron Man" or the "The Crow" at a college computer lab back in what I guess had to be Fall of '98.

LOL, I remember those "top 50" or "top 100" websites for a certain topic, like Nintendo forums or Pokemon forums, or whatever.
