So it seems the red stuff on Rocksteady's eyes are...paint....tattoo's? He still has it in his human face. I guess it's not just a design thing.
Bebop looks cool and modern with the mix of purple/black beard. |

The red eye tattoos are clearly 2K3 Dragon Foot symbols.
Bebop's hair just matched the rest of his fur in Warthog form which is why the beard and the rest of his hair aren't dyed like his mohawk and side burns.

So Bebop and Rocksteady's real names are... Genealdo and Maxence? At first I thought they were just contractions of first and middle names but nope, turns out there really are people with those names. I know Zeck and Steranko were kind of odd names, but I knew those were real names without checking.
Anyway, can someone explain the joke about the daycare? I don't get it. |

Man, Bebop and Rocksteady working normal jobs could be a whole mini-series itself.

Rocksteady's red markings are paint left over from my prehistoric scene in Bebop & Rocksteady Destroy Everything: http://dustinweaver.tumblr.com/post/...llow-war-paint

Can we just get an entire mini of Bebop and Rocksteady working at a daycare ? That sounds like it would be hilarious (and probably be even funnier if they do pretty good with kids, even with the drawback of most of that time being spent teaching them to fight)
That I Love Lucy reference. Genealdo and Maxence: Hit the Road

Though, it would probably make more sense for them to teach at a children's boxing school. They'd probably thrive there.
I also missed the mark on this, but it's now or never. Genealdo and Maxence: Hit the Road

So in regards to Ravenwood...
Spoiler:
Anyway, we're technically close to the halfway point and we still don't have an explaination for why the mutation wore off. I'm going to wait until the conclusion to ask Bobby, maybe we'll get an explaination later down the line. Spoiler:

I guess I shouldn't be surprised at the weirdness of Agent Ravenwood.
Not sure I like it; but I'm gonna wait for the whole mini-series before I make up my mind on her.

By the way, did anyone think Xiang would show up? Sure, she was on the covers, but judging from those I thought it was going to be an original character.

I like how IDW B&R have a nice little rogues gallery of their very own, including Wingnut and Screwloose, the Ghost Boys, Savanti Romero, and apparently Agent Ravenwood now. I was incredibly weirded out by the reveal of her powers, and it's got me thinking of some very far-out possibilities for what the truth behind her and Bishop and the EPF could be... Not gonna go into those due to how incredibly unlikely they are, but it's cool to keep adding to the mystery when we know we're bound to get some answers later this year in Battle Lines. Oh, and the daycare bit was hilarious! I don't know whether to laugh or recoil in terror at how freakin' easy it is for these two to murder someone in cold blood, though... That poor driver's death was gruesome for sure.
