The solicit for Leo says he wants vengeance on the vampire cult for disfiguring him so I’ll guess shredder and the foot are vampires/draculas.

I like a van helsing character too. Or Casey or don as the invisible man?

Big universal monsters missing
Dracula
Wolf man
The creature
Invisible man

Man that Batlle shell sold me. was defintely leaning towards not copping. Are the rumors still true that they plan 8 characters from this line.

They said they wanted to do a Series 2. Perhaps, we will get Casey, Bebop, Rocksteady and Splinter.

Rahzer would be great to have in mutated werewolf form!

It could be Splinter as The Invisible Man.

Actually, he said he had "8 figures done and more in the works", so I think they're gonna try to go all out with these.

Not really a rumor, so much as direct confirmation: https://twitter.com/NECA_TOYS/status...35954617274371

Where can i err...... "consume" more of these universal monsters media?
from a quick google search it seems like it's an old 1912 or something movie based
on a 18xx novel? I can't watch black & white movies, anything more modern?

Specifically, i would like to know more about the hunchback, the figure I am buying
but from everything i can find about quasimodo, he is always the good guy.
Why does Neca give him skull, bones and a spade accessory? He screams Ed Gein more than he does quasimodo.

Also, what is this Dr. Frankenstein's assistant that u guys keep mentioning?
Is that from a movie?

Nevermind, found it.

I find it incredibly hard to understand why anyone from this generation would be a big fan of
a movie/series that happened a hundred years ago.

I still love watching Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton shorts, and some of those are over a hundred years old.

But isn't there a book, or perhaps some myth, that is maybe thousands of years old that you're nevertheless a fan of?

As soon as I read that part, I got the exact same feeling. Doing Shredder as a Dracula type character would be pretty cool to see.

I'm more baffled that you apparently aren't familiar with these characters. They're from stories that are from 100 years ago, sure, but they keep getting retold and remade many, many times over the years (and not just from Universal, those just happen to be the most iconic depictions of them). It's not that different from characters from fairy tales, such as Snow White or Cinderella (please tell me you've heard of these).

Of course i have heard of Frankenstein, werewolf and Dracula, those are classic monsters but I don't think money people know anything beyond their names and general look. Do you know the lore behind it? Where they came from/who created them etc? I don't. And i ESPECIALLY don't know who their sidekick hunchback is, why he has a brain accessory and why he he became a grave robber. Do you??
