Same, though I think this is probably the signal of the end of those dreams. My guess is Playmates shut down the vintage homages in this line, too, so now they're pivoting to cartoon. I'd love to be wrong but I wouldn't be surprised if Triceraton was the last OG figure we get.

ReAction is a lot of fun, but only when steeply, steeply discounted. |

The fact we live in an age where both of these things exist is wild.

At the bottom right, there's a ReAction logo. I wouldn't be surprised if it's just these figures again with the same body but in black and white. ![]()

Ope, well there you go. And yes, I bet you are 100% correct even though that tease will get a bunch of people excited about more comic-accurate looks only to be let down by the same old Super7 reuse laziness.

ReAction figures generally serve as a teaser for the Ultimates line.
We know that there has been a mirage Casey and Karai in the Ultimates so an Ultimates Mirage line isn't really all that far off. Although, quite frankly, the 2003 series will probably look more aesthetically pleasing than any S7 Mirage figure due to the rather heavily standardized (consistent), albeit stylized look and stark color contrast. Now, I'm curious to know what happened to Ultimates Napoleon and Chrome Dome as they appeared in the ReAction line. Super Shredder may have been a false call as there is some conflation with the Chef Boyardee Shredder. |

As RaphaelinSTL predicted, the "Mirage" figures are literally the previous comic figures in greyscale. That's actually even lazier than I expected.
