Is anyone really clambering for this, besides studio execs short on ideas.

We had a spiritual successor in the 90's with Junior. That was a hardly stone-cold success.

Tracey Morgan (54) is way too young anyway. So is Eddie Murphy (62). Samuel L. Jackson would be way more age appropriate at 74, (which I think would be more interesting.

Anyway, since the passing of Ivan Reitman, Jason is too busy with Ghostbusters to worry about this.

It would have made sense pretty much anywhere in the 90s when Arnold, DeVito, and Murphy were all in their prime. Danny DeVito is going to be 80 already. It's over.
