Yeah... with this Baxter, you can see the muscles exposed here and there, just as you can on the Rat King/Slayer. Gross, but brings across the creepy effect well. And check out his eyes... they're looking in different directions!

And now for piccies from Return of Savanti pt 1!

In this ep we learn that Don likes Dinos...but so do I so there's something we have in common...yay!

This is an Archelon. He's the ancestor of the TMNT.

Pterasaurs:

A herd of Triceratops wondering why the Ankylosaur is eating near them:

Ankyosaur: And what are you looking at?!

Our first look at the turtles' new ride...umm...what's the background story on this??

At the museum Leo is shocked to see a sea turtle hanging about:

And the weirdest Pteranadon skeleton I have ever seen. Was it in flight when it died?? Seriously all the ones I've seen the Pteranadon is in a sort of fetal position.

Michelangelo points out a rare yet elusive Nerdasaur:

Raphael spots a Geek-a-saurus Rex:

Donatello ignores his brothers and points out what's left of an Archelon:

A robot of what appears to be a raptor scares Raph and Mike:

April spots a couple Chicken-a-sauruses..

Thru the bones of the T-Rex Savanti has left a message from 65 million years in the past:

Don points out the ring of fire that Savanti mentioned. I took the liberty of pointing out where I live:

Renet returns for the uh...well we don't know how many times she's had adventures with the turtles now....but she apperantly knows April.

Renet is happy to see the turtles but only gives Leo a hug...

Not wanting to go into the past April asks Renet to take her home. Only to be taken to the lair....Is this April's first time at the new lair??

April tries to tell Splinter what happened but Splinter doesn't wanna get involved.

And so Renet drops them in the Cretaceous period:

Don is happy to discover the great Valley...and real live "Apatasaurs":

Leo spots a dead dino (I think it's a hadrosaur...the neck isn't long enough to be a sauropod):

A Velociraptor spots the dead dino too! mmm..lunch!

2 "Apatasaurs" look up as Donatello sneezes:

The turtles make a new friend in a Triceratops which they call Zog, in honor of the Triceraton they befriended 2 seasons ago:

The danger comes in the form of large raptors that Don thinks are Deinonychus but IMO they're Utahraptors:

Don is saved by a sneeze but goes after the Raptor anyways...thankfully tho Don and Renet are saved by Zog:

OK, I got a lil' request coming from Season 2:

"April's Artifact" - right after their arrival, Raph awkwardly tries to help April but instead he tears her trousers apart. She's mad and he's cutely disappointed. If anyone could make a cap out of it, I'd be more than pleased.

The scene near the end where Karai finds the turtles in the water, namely that close-up of Leo giving that look like he's testing her honor wordlessly.

Also, if it's possible to get a good shot of Slashuur...I'd like that, too.

The following images are from Tales of the TMNT vol 1 #7...thought you all would like to get a kick out of how close Return of Savanti pt 1 was to the original story:

This is the cover... Zog is Green... WTF?!:

Don only manages to drag April and Mike to the museum...they're looking at a Velociraptor.

Which turns into Savanti (yep...it was a Velociraptor not a T-Rex):

In the issue April also thought Savanti was sent to the past:

Don talks about the ring of fire, Mike wonders how they'll get there:

That's when Renet appears:
