Netflix "Shadow and Bone"

Surprised this one doesn't seem to have a thread, anyone catch this series?

Re-watched the first season early this week and will probably finish the 2nd tonight.


Regarding season 2...

Been waiting since the first season for Mal to discover he has unknown powers -- after all, he was conveniently never tested, seems more durable than the average person, and has that weird sense... not to mention when Alina couldn't originally conjure the light on her own at first without Kirigan holding her hand, the first time she did and in a big way, unknown to her that it would happen, she was holding onto Mal's hands -- and then they went and made him this amplifier instead of just being a Grisha of some kind. Pth. I assume it's probably from the books, but feels a little shark jumpy. Wanted to see him have actual powers he discovers how to harness.

Jesper... had a feeling he too had a bit of something going on there. Quite an enjoyable character. Inej too, always enjoy when she's on screen. Even if she has no powers she doesn't even need any, the girl is a legit freakin' ninja. So many characters in this are enjoyable to watch really.
