Interesting. I've never followed Mezco, do they normally have a "dumbed-down" line with less articulation?

Same style for sure, but I love the particular sculpt and paint work on the NECA figures. I didn’t appreciate those enough when they were around. I guess they weren’t exactly what I wanted out of a Mirage TMNT figure, design-wise, but looking back, I still think those are some of my favorite tmnt figures.

Curious what size these end up being - the 5Points line is 3.75" scale.

I am too - if these were 3" that would be amazing against other 3.75" scaled toys. |

Oh, wait. If these are 3.75", I might be in. I'll have to see them. But I've been doing vintage Star Wars and Star Trek ReAction, so... this is now a maybe.

I thought these were bath toys.
They look very bland.

Just threw together a collage to show you guys some of Mezco's 5-Points collection. It's a very cool line.... They are all 3.75" figures.
They are simply retro throwbacks to a simpler time. That's all - basically they go hand in hand with Marvel Legend Retro 3.75" which are in stores now as well. |

If this was like 2011, we'd be losing our **** ... but again, the game has changed.

If they were 6" they'd be an easy pass as there's just similar/better stuff already out there. But at 3.75" I find them pretty intriguing! |

Outlandish....
Single figures like The Crow were, I think, 35 bucks. But the Mezco 5-Points stuff is commonly sold in sets with full dioramas and several figures spanning 40 to 130 depending on the set. For example they released a full Batman '66 set with 7 figures, a Batmobile and a Batcave for $140 and it was awesome. My guess is that this is a 4-pack for something like 60 bucks unless it comes with a sewer or city diorama then maybe 80. Best guess right now. I could only imagine what would come of it if Hiya Toys released a 3.75" scale TMNT line........ |

The Crow is a two-pack for $36.
But the prices are all over the place with these - some 5-packs are $50, some are $100 depending on what else is included. The '66 Batman set was $140 but came with 7 figures, the Batmobile *and* a diorama. https://www.mezcotoyz.com/5-points-b...luxe-boxed-set |

Cool, thanks guys. Definitely not an auto-buy price, but maybe not TOO bad.

My main complain is the turtles doesn't have individual heads each. Two of them share the same head with the other two.

Yeah - it's a really good looking collection but even so, I'm a little surprised that one is sold out. It's just a really niche property. But that's what you get with that kind of cult-status - instant sellouts or full-on discounts I suppose.

Considering so preordered the Superman set back in 2020 and it's still not out... maybe we'll get lucky and see these before 2025?
