He cant be 8 or else his parents woulnt had let him go alone for a walk and create his lab and robots. His must be 16+ and he just looks like he is much younger. Many people look younger than they are. I know a man who is 39 years old but he looks like less than 30 years old. April must aso be 17-18 or else they wouldnt allow her to work.

Did you ever watch Dexter's Laboratory, Dexter is under 10 years old, he had his own lab under his house and made stuff. and don't forget Stewie from Family Guy, he's under 2, i can't remember if he had a lab but he made stuff.

Eh...TMNT tends to be a little more realistic in terms of character age than those other shows, so it wouldn't really be one to have a toddler doing that sort of thing, but where 'Rise' Baxter is concerned I suppose they could go the child genius route with this one. Tends to be kind of an evil genius usually anyhow.
And yeah, this one is definitely a young kid. Esp with his parents showing up to yell at him that he was supposed to be home an hour before. |

I... Really? He's a cartoon character! Him being too young to build a giant robot, for a Youtube scam of all things, is the joke here. It's not an indicator that he's older than he looks.

I just got to watch this one and I have to say that this series is either growing on me or this was one of the better episodes.

Sheesh, April really is the Scrappy-Doo of the series and this episode proves it.
Also, it's so sad when a kid is exposed to social media, in this manner. Last edited by LeotheLateBloomer; 10-20-2018 at 07:50 AM. |

My review of The Gumbus... I honestly enjoyed this episode more than all of those Halloween episodes from the 2012 series season 5. Those dragged on imo. I loved Stockboy, you definitely get the sad loner vibe from him, which can lead to him becoming the Stockman we all know. |

At the end of the Gumbus video "Stockboy" is seen snatched away by something unseen. But it isn't his last video, there is a newer, presumably can stacking video after it. Are these Turtles and April really lacking any small amount of reasoning skills whatsoever, at least enough for someone to question why, if the Gumbus was real, the kid's next video wasn't about what happened to him? Wow. lol Now, about the levitating and flying food... |
