British politician David Amess died today, Friday after being stabbed to death with a knife during a meeting inside the Belfairs Methodist Church in Leigh on Sea in Essex.

Amess was probably best known to fans of satirical British comedy for his appearance on Brass Eye, where he was fooled into believing that a phony drug called 'Cake' existed and lobbied for something to be done about it in parliament.
