DC's Stargirl Casts Alkoya Brunson as Jakeem Thunder For Season 2

One of the most highly-anticipated characters that has been teased on the series is Jakeem Thunder -- and now we know who will be playing him. According to a new report from Decider, The Originals and Me, Myself, and I star Alkoya Brunson has been cast as Jakeem, and is set to appear on the series in a recurring role. This comes after the announcement earlier this month that Jim Gaffigan would be voicing Yz the Thunderbolt, the genie who joins forces with Jakeem in the comics.

Episode 1 of season 2 was good not a lot of superhero stuff. The end with Green Lantern's Daughter was cool and Episode 2 is gonna focus on her and how to use the ring.

Why is Jade not green from head to toe and why does she need a ring??? She never needed one in the comics. Except that time she was powerless & dating GL Kyle Rayner....but still green.

Hopefully they don't kill off Shade after only 1 season.

I wasn't a fan at how easily everyone else excepted/believed "Green Lantern's daughter" even though she broke into their house and attacked Courtney.
