I haven’t read the comics or have an interest in the newer TMNT stuff (2012, Rise, etc.) but here it goes. Not necessarily in this order.

1. Shredder
2. Baxter Stockman
3. Agent Bishop
4. Hun
5. Lord Dregg
6. Rat King
7. Triceratons
8. Max Winters
9. Krang
10. Karai

And that’s it. Can’t think of any others.

Baxter Stockman (2003 version) is my favourite.

Michael Bay, Jonathan Liebesman, Dave Green, Josh Appelbaum, and André Nemec probably deserve to be in the top 5. Fill out the other five slots with some Nick suits and writers, boom, there ya go.

Not sure on the order of my top 10 but Shredder would be number 1.
Bishop (where he is a villain) and Karai (when she is a villain) would be on my list.

Sadly, he was mutilated by Shredder. Too early.

Didn't the pantheon appear in the mirage comics and you put Oroku Saki/Shredder for all versions?

Yeah, Oroku Saki for pretty much all versions. Even the 2012 Nick cartoon had a decent Saki... kidnapping Miwa and twisting her into a villain. Good $hit.

But, disclaimer: I don't credit Fred Wolf with anything good except kicking off Turtlemania and getting me into TMNT. Their version of Saki sucked, but their version of EVERYTHING sucked.

And the Pantheon was the name for a different group of immortals in one issue of the Mirage comics, but they were more like spiritual avatars of all the different animal kingdoms and $hit. Nothing to do with the IDW version; only the name is the same.

Talking of "real" TMNT villains, I'm surprised Michael Pressman hasn't been mentioned for directing Secret of the Ooze?

It's not a good movie, like at all, but it's hardly the worst TMNT movie. I'd say TMNT 3 and OotS are both worse. And while I don't exactly agree with the notion that it's better than the first PD movie (not good either BTW) there's a lot of people who feel it is.

Yikes, what did that poor man do? He had to direct martial arts stunts with four people in turtle costumes, a couple of people with poor vision in monster costumes, David Warner, Vanilla Ice and a club of 30 to 40 year old extras. I think the guy should be given a standing ovation.

The mutagen not originating from Earth was supposed to be the Secret of the Ooze. TGRI replacing TCRI ruined it all.

I actually like the idea of mutagen being a man made product of science. I wasn't even aware mutagen was originally alien until the 2014 film came out. I personally don't see that as a problem with the movie.
