Totally given up with this now, after waiting and waiting i've decided to get the season 5 set from Austraila because thats the closest I can find to owning the last episodes

Really disappointed they never finished them off over here

I don't blame you. I've found that Australia has always been reliable with TMNT DVD releases.

Really strange that the final episodes were not released on DVD in the UK. They were even released over here in The Netherlands!

A complete Season 5 set will be released in Germany soon by the way.

So can Australian DVD play in UK DVD players or do you need a multi region DVD player.

Actually, Nick DVDs are both R2 and R4, like all BBC DVDs are. It's cheaper for them to make them that way - they just don't tell anyone

You have just blown my mind wide open, I was just happy that the dvds matched from different regions but being able to play them in a uk dvd player is even better

It's because both Australia and the UK use the PAL colour system. The US and Canada use NTSC.

FYI, a lot of UK DVD players are also region-free for whatever reason - especially cheaper brand ones that you can get from places like ASDA.
