That's awesome. I checked here Yesterday at TRU but nothing. Hopefully they put them out here today since they were set to release today in the US. Shame they never came out over a week ago as my son's birthday was last Saturday.
I would have liked to have checked today but by the time work was over the stores were all pretty much closed so I'll look tomorrow after work. |

I had my girlfriend check for the new movie Figures since she was going to the mall today and Walmart had nothing and Toys r Us had none but she asked someone at the toys r us and they said they got them but won't get them unpacked and on the shelves until later this afternoon.
Edit: The girlfriend went back this afternoon and they had them out so she said she would get 5 of them now; Krang, Bebop, Rocksteady, Casey, and Shredder (I know he looks horrible but how can you not get shredder?) Edit 2: She got back with the stuff: And then we opened them: The kids are enjoying them. I told them to not rub the eyes off Krang. Shredders blades are so soft they come off easily as well. Also Casey's hockey stick is very soft too and is very loose in his hands. The articulation is really nice on most of the figures...shredder is just ok. Btw after about 2 hours the kids came running to me saying Krang's eye rubbed off and saying they needed some paint
Went to our 2 Walmart stores here today. What is normally considered the good Walmart had no new movie stuff and the guy there wasn't sure when we would see some...then we went to the other Walmart and they weren't in the main aisle but they were on the end of the aisle. They are $10 compared to $11 at toys r us so we got the other 6 figures there. This Walmart is being upgraded from the bad Walmart to the "not so bad" Walmart. Where the technodrome is $60 we will see if it is cheaper from the US before getting it. Last edited by nellyp; 04-12-2016 at 12:02 PM. |

lol well i likely can't wait to get it cheaper from the US. plus dude the import charges and shipping might make it more than $60 Canadian or US$

Amazon.com doesn't have it sold by Amazon so can't see how much it would be for the technodrome there. Where Amazon doesn't charge tax it could have worked out better but it probably wouldn't be by much.

Checked my walmart -
they didn't have a spot for them on the racks, but I found Splinter, Leo and Foot soldier sitting on the shelf. Bought Leo and FS, and left splinter for now as he looks like a repaint of the 1st movie figure. Got all excited and went to TRU. They also didn't have a spot for the basic figures. THey had the sound ones and the large ones, and the dress up and the technodrome and the megabloks. But no basic figures. Finally found one Leo on the regular Nick figure pegs. Checked with the front desk and that's the only basic figure they had left. Checked another close Walmart and they had none. So either these things are selling out ridiculously fast or these stores only got 1 case each. Now most of them are sold out on TRU's website. |

Was at the Not so bad Walmart today and I noticed that they got in the movie Tactical Truck. Better late than never. It is $50 btw.
Our son had had over $100 in gift cards and cash from his birthday a couple of weeks ago. When I was 7 I don't recall getting over $100 in birthday cash. I am pretty sure I just got the TMNT turtlecopter and thought that was awesome. Anyway here is what he bought with all that money: He said that he is going to have the turtles take over the technodrome and have it be a good technodrome but I can't see it. Even if they do overthrow krang, having a weaponized technodrome at your disposal is sure to corrupt you with that kind of power. The things kids think of. |

Anyone bought the 11 inch figures and can comment on them? Are they basically the same as the smaller scale with less accessories?
I noticed the 11 inch Turtles only have cut joint necks. |

Question for my fellow Canadians...
I'm a tad out of the loop with recent releases in Canada (aside from the movie line) so hopefully you can help me out. I decided to cave and pick up the re-deco TMNT today, as there's a wave (see pic) that retains the pupils but dropped the hideous belt lettering that I hated so much. They have good paint apps and all the same weapons of the original release, etc. Problem is, I can't find Donatello anywhere... I find it hard to imagine that they'd re-release the re-deco figures and not release Donnie with them but I've been to four Walmart stores today and cannot find the Donnie re-deco. I'm going to keep checking on the off chance that it'll turn up. Damn kids, buying up my favorite turtle! So, please tell me the Donnie figure exists. It's a silly question I realize but stranger things have happened. Edit: I did locate the figure on Amazon so I'm glad to see it exists... I guess I'll have to track it down.

I hadn't noticed that they never put the letters on the belts on these ones.
On another note I noticed that toys r us had a pic up in store saying that if you spend $30 on TMNT They will give you a retro 2 pack figures for free. Has anyone else heard about this? The 2 packs if you aren't familiar with them they are the rereleases of the 2k3 style mini figures. |
