I guess in this situation, its not a problem of the dimensions and their rules being different, as much as it is of the Rise turtles being indoors.

They just need to bait Hun outside, and then own him with their magical weapons.

When they get out of this situation (hoping they will), the Rise turtles will probably learn that being overly reliant on their magical weapons won't do them many favours in the future.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

With Donnie not being part of this mission due to his broken leg, Mikey unconscious and Leo with his calf punctured, options for Raph are running very low, what can he do?

It was fun to have Hun use real Chinese words.

Rise Raph did the responsible thing, the lives of his brothers and all the people are far more important than the money.

But that still doesn't mean that being defeated by Hun feels good.

In those first few episodes of "Rise" the guys are seen going through a list of crooks to go after and Leo dismisses them all apart from the least dangerous. Scoring them easy victories.

That was his way of preparing the team for the real battles which would come later, but it's also a strategy which in these pages came back to bite the Turtles BAD.

So Rise-Raph had screwed up royally. Not only did he withheld information from his brothers but in doing so severely compromised the safety of the team.

So what would be a fitting punishment?

That face of Raphael is the stuff of legend

Also R-18 Dimension had me laughing pretty hard too, until I realized it was not in reference to the 2012 world being much more mature.

I'm pretty sure everybody familiar with the IDW series of TMNT will recognize this picture, it is the awesome Michael Dialynas drawn cover for "City at war"

In my variation I switched the heroes and villains around, it's the good guys looking menacingly at the bad guys.

So we have Bullhop taking the place of Ocho (A Mole Yokai), Frankenfoot taking the place of Koya (A mutated Falcon), Sunita taking the place of Karai and Piebald taking the place of Bludgeon (A mutated Hammerhead Shark) and the Purple dragons taking the place of the Turtles.

I hate how cocky Rise Donnie is but I love how Rise April is always able to bring him down to earth.

Heh, check this out...

I saw THIS picture of Donnie...

...and I went "He looks as if he has a big set of tits."

I guess the intention of the "Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" designers was to give the Turtles wide torsos and narrow waists to really make them look buff. When actually, having protruding chests behind a carapace makes the Turtles look as if they have a double D size set of boobs.

And I had this idea in my head. Not related to the story, made just for fun...

So what did the Rise Turtles find which saved their world?

We'll find out in later pages.

Ok, I'm hooked, The suspense is killing me lol.

I have a off-hand that this story might also have the Rise folks meet the 80s counterparts.

I would be wary of the truce with Tiger Claw though, there was no indication in his final episodes that he lost his loyalty for Shredder, only that he needed the help of the turtles to beat a common enemy.

The Shredder that was resurrected in the season 5 opener was merely a puppet of Kavaxas, and Tiger Claw might go back to finding a way to bring him back properly this time, with the truce buying him time to do so.

I can't really tell where the story is going to go, which keeps me interested since I am left guessing.

Third time's the charm, this was my third try to continue this story and this time I got the feeling right.

- First try, Rise Donnie and April on the roof discussing what they are about to discus.
- Second try, Karai and Leo in Karai's bedroom discussing the same thing.

Both of those tries went nowhere, for some reason it didn't work.

Until I heard THIS song coming by and I went "Now there's something I can work with."

So I went back to the first scenario and it came out, with no issues.

Thank you.

I have no intention of stopping.

So what was bothering Donnie?

Looking at those panels gave me a feeling of Deja Vu until I realised the reference

Indeed, I wanted to put in an Easter egg to the very first Mirage issue of TMNT.
