Viacom Registers New Trademark for New TMNT Project "TMNT: The Next Chapter" - Page 12

I dont understand why they made my new game based on my 1987 version instead of rise of tmnt but this dosent mean that suddently after so many years the 1987 show will continue with the next series. It will be something new not a continuation of where 1987 series ended. There is no any reason to make another series based on the 1987 series.

20 years from now, I wonder whether "Rise", "Next Mutation" or BayTurtles will be the Blackest Sheep.

...And the fact that we have so many strong contenders for that "title" is supremely depressing all by itself.

My guess... still Next Mutation. Rise second as it made itself rather forgettable outside of it's own hardcore fans, and the Bay films are largely innocuous and more forgettable just being two films that came and went and nothing long term like a series. Next Mutation is weird enough with the sound effects, etc to keep it's "wtf was that" edge.

I would pick Next Mutation easily over the other two, any day of the week.

All three of them make me wanna hurl a brick through my TV... but at least TNM has a passing resemblance to the characters as we know them, and they're not some perverted "recreation".

"Rise", I can't condone because of how unapologetically dumb it is. I cannot abide "dumb" TMNT. And I swear to GOD that I will hit my finish on anyone who chimes in with "TMNT s'pozed to be dumb, tho!"

And BayTurtles... I just... I can't even... I want to find out where the people responsible live. And eat their skin. Or failing that, just take a giant White Castle sh*t in the refrigerator and the toilet tank. SOMETHING. Transgressions such as those demand recompense. A blood sacrifice. SOMETHING.

I don't particularly like TNM. But it's reasonably low on the "Leo656 Wants To Commit A Felony" scale compared to the other two.

I find The Next Mutation to be the most unwatchable (I was never able to finish it). The second most unwatchable is Bay Turtles. I was constantly looking at the clock when watching Out of the Shadows. I could not stand Bebop and Rocksteady or Krang and the humour. Then there were just the completely stupid scenes like the turtles jumping out of an airplane. For that matter, I didn't particularly like any of the turtles. They all annoyed me. I would defnitely choose to watch Rise over the other two.

Let's see here, the PD movies together just piss me off and the Next Mutation incomprehensible gibberish. I'm gonna go with Rise because I can follow the plots of the episodes and it doesn't piss me off. Though if I had the choice of skipping the second PD movie and just watch the first one, I might go with that option instead.
