On the contrary, I caught all the eps when they premiered, watched it all despite not being fond of it, gave the whole damn thing 100% fair chance to get its act together and change my mind, but it did not and I still very much disagree with your view on character development, story, etc.

Believe it or not, not everyone who gives it all the chance possible will become a convert.

That couldn't be further from the truth than it already is. We've watched two completely different cartoons.

Okay, well then this show just isnt for you it seems. I dont have a problem with people not liking it. Giving it a chance is a good thing in my book, and then if you dont like it still hey you just dont like it. I really enjoy it. But there will be more cartoons of the tmnt ahead anyway.

I, too, gave Rise another chance even after being immensely disappointed by the first episode.

I only ended up being immensely disappointed again.

Just you wait. After the next TMNT show airs, so-called Rise “fans” who defended it against haters will deny that they ever liked it and will bash it just as much

The next series will be 1000 times better than rise. It will be as good and full of action like the 2003 and 2012 seires are but not as funny as the 1987 series is.

For once I agree with the Shredder RPer.

Not to mean to go beating a dead horse by saying so, just that a rather universally well received show would be fantastic, iffy as it may unfortunately be to happen in this era of animation.

I think that while the show evolved in a way that was fun to watch, I agree that it didn't need a season 3. The movie was fantastic but let's be honest, that was probably the best we were gonna get. It did open up potential to continue but it felt in a lot of ways like a finale and did bring a lot of closure to these characters so I'm fine with it. I still find that while enjoyable, this show was kind of a mess when it came to pacing. I think the best thing to do at this point is wait a little while before launching something new.
