I was hoping someone else would get a shot at directing. I love the character but was dying to get out of the theater by the end of "AM&TW".

The An-Man movies are inconsequential but a lot of fun. Kang is a great villain and I hope it's true. I suppose this is my excuse to slab a copy of Avengers #8 I bought about 13 years ago now.....

You could tell me Batman is in this movie and I'd wait for home video. I can't remember the last time I was as bored in a theater, as I was for the Ant-Man sequel (Maybe SS but that was nearly in the "so bad it's good" category). I was looking forward to it too, but I think the director just doesn't do it for me.

Hoping to be pleasantly surprised when I eventually get around to it.

I certainly hope Kang isn't the main villain. I like the Ant-Man movies just fine but Kang is too good a villain to waste on this. Heck he is the kind of villain that could be the next Thanos-level big bad in the MCU.

This seems as weird as sending the Suicide Squad to fight Darkseid, or Robin to fight Ares all by himself.

I'm not very knowledgeable about Kang the Conqueror, but I'm assuming there's a Quantum Realm connection? Given Kang's whole thing is time travel?

I kind of suspect it will be like Thanos at the end of Avengers combined with Thanos in GotG 1 here. Maybe. With the idea that this is a player that will pop up again in like Fantastic Four or onward. It's hard to imagine an Ant-Man 3 where he is like the central villain that is defeated definitively by the end.
