To be fair the Mario universe probably has the deepest lore in all of gaming. Especially when you include not just the main games, but all the RPG's like Paper Mario and Mario and Luigi, Luigi's Mansion 1-3, Captain Toad, all the Yoshi games, then the entire Donkey Kong franchise and all its spinoffs and then Wario Land and Wario Ware.
Nothing else comes close. |
