This or That: Fast Food or Actual Restaurants

Do you like to go the fast food route? Or do you actually like to sit in a nice place and eat with family and or a loved one. Discuss!

I only eat at restaurants during family get togethers. Obviously since there are plans for that to happen.

Otherwise restaurants are a waste of time. You have to sit there and wait 10-15 minutes for your food and longer for them to serve each dish. I can eat at home in 10 minutes compared to the usual 45 minutes to 1 hour it would take to eat the same meal at a restaurant.

If I'm going to eat out I prefer to go to a restaurant, more often it's breakfast/brunch in recent years. I use fast food sometimes too but often for light snacks/drinks I'm more likely to go to a coffee place than McDonalds.

Eh... either? Though on my own, I rarely tend to bother with either of them much. In most cases it's someone else's idea to grab fast food before going home. If I get any kind of fast food myself it's usually the chicken sliders from Royal Farms on rare occasion. Though that is to-go only, and wouldn't stay and eat anyhow even if they had seats.

We've been getting delivery from restaurants once in a while after the world has had it's global meltdown, but even before then I'm rarely at an actual restaurant anymore unless its for someone's birthday.

Largely, I just eat stuff I buy from a store.
