It's just that gooood...

I never understood or appreciated this movie as a child -- the plot, the jokes all went over my head. It can only really be appreciated by teens or adults who know something about classic cartoons. Despite its 2-dimensional characters and plotline, it's got an energy that makes it a true gem in cinema history.

Age-old question. Blonde seems more boring. Red is exotic. It is, in fact the rarer hair color. It stands out more. We've got Ariel (mermaid), Jean Grey from X-Men, MJ from Spider-Man... and then what's-her-face in the bandage loin cloth from the 5th Element.

Also, I know prostitutes used to dye their hair red in ancient times.

Um... I'm not gonna answer the other part.

wow...it has been like forever since I've seen "who framed Roger Rabbit"? and I had forgotten how much of a "temptress" Jessica Rabbit was . But I really have to say that the 2D animation was really well done here and looked very realistic, and they blended the animation with the real people very well. Screw CGI, cell amition is the best in my opinion!

I thought black hair, I mean "true" black, was the rarer hair color?

I did research on this subject, thanks to a project I had to do last year.

Actually, Red hair is even more recessive than blond hair. Black hair (like brown eyes) will always be dominant.

And "true" black (deep, ink black) is only as rare as "true" blond (i.e. wispy white down hair).

More random trivia: Jessica Rabbit, in the novel "Who Censored Roger Rabbit?" on which the movie was based, was originally a porn comic star. Good thing Zemeckis toned it down for the movie.

And I'm off topic but I don't care. There are threads on this subject every other month.

I always thought true black hair (deep inky, blue back hair) was only possiable in certain ethnic groups, like asians and Indians.

And in other ethnic back grounds what passes for "black" hair is actually just really dark brown hair, and not trully black hair at all.

Well, dunno about Indians but I've been around Asians my whole life. I've seen this "true black" hair of which you speak -- the kind where the only colored highlight is white, because the hair is so black -- but even this, so I've heard, is simply a very, very dark brown that LOOKS black. You see it now and then, and those asians tend to have really, really straight hair.

(BTW, no such thing as blue-black hair cept in comic books and anime and artificial dye kits probably.)

I know! The NT April's proportions (5'8" and 125lb) make her too skinny. My mother is 5'6" and 120 or so and she is VERY thin. I'm 5'5" and 130-135 and everyone thinks I am skinny (though slender is probably the better word). April at those proportions would probably be underweight. With the curves she has in the NT, she seems to weigh more than that. But OT April still seems sexier.

April probably lied like Vicki Vale.

On the official website they just kept the same numbers they always have, when they had another pic of April on there. But yeah, stats like that always seem off.

This bares repeating.

Her eyes are gorgeous. Her eyelashes must be a mile long.

But April's sexiest feature would be her LIPS.
