There have been moments where she is more focused on other things such as her dad and studying vrs having a boy friend.

In season one April was more focused on saving her dad then Donnie's advances. And she did comment that the had a paper to turn in at school. And when the Turtles are saying "You should live with us until we defeat the Kraang" She says "What about school? What about my friend(s)?"

In season two when she is trying to convince herself that that being away from the Turtles was for the best, she says 'This is it April, this is a new start. Don't talk about Alien Robots, Mutant Dads, and don't even think about Turtles.'

Later in that same episode April is telling Casey they didn't get much studying done. And Casey says "Is studying all you do? You need to relax."
And then when she says he has no idea about all the crazy she does. He says "Like what being a Science Olympian."

In season three when Casey is telling her that she has been acting cold towards him...she rounds on him and starts to list off things that concern her more then Casey's libido before she senses the Creep.

Then in later episode she's comments that she's annoyed she can't get in contact with Casey and comments that they have homework to do.

Alright, I guess it's hard to remember because most of those moments either happen so fast , get forgotten with later episodes, or with the exception of April being mad at the turtles, hardly have any importance to the plot . Also it just a little annoying how some things are often said rather then shown like how April had to live with the turtles for a while. Although for some of them it's not like we would really want a entire episode devoted to April trying to pass the trig exam, but depending on the right writer and director who are doing it, it might be really funny to watch. Hilarity ensue and all that.
