I think so far Sonic Boom is the best animated Sonic cartoon to date. I hope it takes that route, sure it can be more serious but kept if fun.

It's hard for me to get excited til we see dome footage so for now, it's whatever to me.

Man they just make one new Sonic cartoon after another, don't they? Wasn't Sonic Boom not too long ago? And Sonic X in the early 2000's.

Really excited for this.

Never finished Sonic Boom. I had no problem with the designs or different continuity but I could not get into the sitcom format. Some episodes were good and I know it tried some other things so I do wanna go back and finish it.

However an action oriented cartoon fits Sonic way better. I don’t care if it’s 3D CGI or 2D. I’m sure it’ll look nice either way. Boom’s cgi looked good.

Man of Action’s Mega Man and Ben 10 seem to be the biggest comparisons at the moment. Never seen MM. People seem split. I keep meaning to check it out. I’ve only played MM2 NES though so I can’t speak for that franchise.

I have seen quite a bit of Ben 10. I honestly think any of those versions would work very well for Sonic. Plenty of action, an overall story and various villains.

Wildbrain owns SatAM apparently. It’d be awesome if Sega took this opportunity to revive the Freedom Fighters or at least Sally Acorn. Not as a continuation of SatAM. I mean reintroduce them for today. It’d be a safe way to try them out again without having to put them in a game.

Of course it’s just speculation. Sega can revive them anytime regardless but it’s an interesting tidbit.

Could be good as long as it doesn't turn out to be Mega Man: Fully Charged 2.0. But given Man of Action's involvement, I'm setting my expectations low.
