Do you have any insides that it could happen? Besides the sells?
Between COVID going on when this was coming out, and issue 26 just releasing 3 days ago, I don't think any sales numbers would be too impressive yet. Also the colored re-release of issues 1-23 didn't exactly sell too hot (I think they only sold between 3,000-4,000 copies each when I was watching them), so...

I'm just glad we got the conclusion we got, anything more would be a bonus.

i have never read volume 3 fully.

Is it any good?

Does it with the new three issues contradict with Mirage continuity ?

It could. It'd be neat to see.

Wouldn't there be some copyright violation if that happened? Wouldn't whoever created her have to give permission?

And I'm sure Erik would have said "yes." But Nick might have gotten nervous about that, regardless.

I'd read Mirage growing up but these reprints have been my first time reading volume 3. Overall I've enjoyed it and feel it fits well with the Mirage books. It's worth a read in my opinion. There are certainly some things about it that are very 90s, in good and bad ways, but overall it was a fun ride.

I love that the last page is the same. That was a wonderful nod, and also a way for fans to choose which ending is their choice of the real ending.

This was my first time going through the Image run, I ended up liking it better than Volume 4 in a lot of ways. I think once you get past some of the rushed storytelling at the beginning, Mikey, Raph and Leo really grew more so than they did in other iterations.

I feel like the 87 theme song, which is probably responsible for the massive success of the TMNT, is also a kind of double edged sword. The archetypes stick with the characters a little too much. I didn't enjoy the Nano-Donny stuff, but it was at least a new direction for the character.

That was a pleasant surprise for me as well. I had no idea they were going to do that.

On the whole I think the Image series did lean a bit on the FW archetypes of the Turtles a bit more than I'd prefer... but what I most appreciate is their treatment of Michelangelo. Not a brain dead surfer dude, and Gary picked up on his writing interest.

Now that this series is over do we know how the 3 issues sold? I imagine COVID really hurt sales of these quite a bit but I'm still curious. Any sales data on issue 24-26?

Having first discovered the Turtles via the FW cartoon I was surprised when I discovered Mich(a)elangelo's original characterization in the Mirage books: I never really liked the the FW iteration (my least favorite Turtle in the cartoon) and always found it a relief when it was toned down or altered in the various media that followed. But I loved the Mirage original take on Mikey and when I see it reflected in some other version my heart swells.

In the end, I don't remember any origin story to that armor with an AI. The only thing I know is that it was worn by that guy in the first issue. So having that thing becoming Lady Shredder and getting killed with bug spray felt weird since I dont even know who made it and where it came from.
