Used to be rye, but now I'm obsessed with mezcal. However, mezcal is hard to find where I live, so I generally stick to tequila. How about this: rye for cocktails, tequila for sipping (and of course shooting). If I can get ahold of some mezcal then I typically savor it and try and make it last.

I buy it at the local Wine Monopoly, that's the usual place in Norway where you can buy bewerages above 4,5% alcohol.

From my experience and observation, vodka gets people drunk fast and make them say/do the stupidest sh*t ever.

That's the fun of it!
Any time I make mention of it around my mom she feels the need to bring up a time when she came out to the garage to find my friend on the floor & I in a garbage pail with no socks or shoes.

We've got one called Liquor Barons, which is kind'a funny, and there was a short lived chain back in the 90s called Booze Bandits. I think the name may have ultimately alienated their clientele.

It really depends on the brand, but its mostly wine-like.
I had a really good one when I was visiting Whitby in England which was more like a brandy. |

I realise I've never addressed the subject so I'll answer it now
When given the choice I usually go with fruity stuff but I don't mind most alcoholic drinks in general, because if I'm drinking anything alcoholic obviously my intent is to get drunk so I won't care about the taste as much. Margaritas are a personal favourite, though at home wine or beer is the usually-available option. My dad's staff at a motel and when guests leave their alcohol behind, he gets to bring it home, so we tend to have beer around more than anything else, I pretty much always have something to get drunk on if I ever want to. Every once in a while I do those online drinking game things when we have entirely too much beer in the house. I also really love piƱa coladas

I prefer Matcha lattes more than anything...
But nothing beats hot chocolate with a splash of Pusser's rum after a day of camping or snowshoeing. |

I'm not much of a drinker, but I enjoy the occasional rum and Coke!

Hmm where to start? I don't drink often, but when I do- sorry if I sound a bit like a Dos Eches commercial- I tend to either drink fruity drinks or straight wine. Usually vodka, rum, kalua, or tequila-based. I like screwdrivers, daqueris, and mudslides in particular. And pina coladas of course. I also like a bottle of Manschwitz blackberry wine on occasion. Malibu and Dr Pepper, or eggnog heavy on the nog. And Chili's has some killer fruit-infused Margaritas! Only things I won't touch is congiac(sp?) and most beer except Guinness or a few flavors of Sam Adams. Mead is okay. Gotta be honey mead though. Got hammered on screwdrivers on my 21st bday, to the point that I went through almost an ebtire bottle of McCormicks by myself!
