Twister 2: Twisters.

https://www.giantfreakinrobot.com/ent/twister-2.html

Well, I really enjoyed the original and I had the soundtrack. Twister was an absolute guilty pleasure movie of mine.

Without Bill Paxton, I'm not sure how it'll work, I guess he dies off screen chasing storms, what the character loved doing.

In a world of pointless squeals, I'm actually looking forward to this. This could be to 2024 what Maverick was 2022.

The titular Twister better be somehow vaguely but demonstrably related to the original storm front.

Paxton would have been the only reason to see this. And Helen Hunt looks about 150 years old now.

Maybe Bill Paxton has become a storm himself like Harold Ramis became a ghost in Ghostbusters Afterlife

Soon after wrapping filming on Twisters in December, Powell, 35, clarified that the movie is “not a reboot” of the 1996 film.
“We’re not trying to recreate the story from the first one. It’s a completely original story,” the Top Gun: Maverick star said in an interview with Vogue. “There are no characters from the original movie back, so it’s not really a continuation. … It’s just its own standalone story in the modern day.”

He added, “Humans-versus-weather is a very universal idea, how powerless we really are in the face of these cataclysmic forces.”

When I saw the original Twister in the theaters with my dad, it made me want to study weather so I can hopefully some day be a weather forecaster but now I want to work in technology. I read books, watch a lot of tornado VHS documentaries and studied weather forecasts for years.

Strangely I like severe thunderstorms; but on the flip side, I also fear them, because I have anxiety attacks in conditions where I feel I'm in danger and hearing tornado sirens really gets my attention. I never once saw a tornado without a book or a TV.
