I read that Gamestop will be getting exclusive paint variants of the turtles figures as well.

Interesting. I googled this and found one pic of Raph and Mikey labeled "GameStop color samples". (Scroll down at link)

Raph is lighter green and Mikey much brighter green than the normal versions and their arm and leg bands are painted in the OG cartoon fashion. I don't think these variants look dramatic enough for me to go out of my way to get them, but we shall see after more photos pop up. Now if/when they ever do black & white or Mirage variants, ill be all over those!

I wonder if these will be blind boxed as well or sold in a special pack or something.

Not only do they have the OT bands, they didn't even paint their wrists! Screw those variants. But I'm with you about Mirage ones, I'd be those in a heartbeat! We need more comic merch.

Yeah the market is definitely saturated with original cartoon merchandise.

I can't stand the blind box thing either which is why I was planning on giving these guys a miss, but in the end I caved and ordered a crate! Think I'm only interested in the turtles and Splinter though, so will definitely have a few up for sale once they arrive.

I know I'm posting a little late here, just found the thread thanks to Powder.

When I first saw the pictures for pre-order at BBTT didn't know what to think beacuse it was evidents they were not the actual figures.
With the new pics I agree with most of you that this figs look great. Don't care much about the articulation as they would be standing IMO most of the time.

Really love the Casey, so good to see him beeing produced in this line.
Unfortunately Revoltech series and other non-TMNT projects make me belive I won't be gettinh these right away, but I was teached to be thankfull so I could accept them for Christmas if someone is feeling generous XD

I'm definitely interested in Casey and Shredder if anyone gets extras. Those are the only 2 I really want and I don't want to have to order a bunch of blindboxes to get them

No they are not window boxed. They are blindboxed. The exception is the alternate colorways being sold as Gamestop exclusives. I believe these will be window boxed, but it looks like they are not offering the full line there (just the 4 turtles, Shredder, and Splinter).
