Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. The Kraang have another thing coming if they think they'd get away with firing on Angel.

Or to quote Ironhide in the original Transformers series "All technology is no replacement for good old-fashioned guts!" The De Havilland DH-100 Vampire is as old school a jet as can possibly be, but in the right hands it can still dish out considerable punishment.

Boy, I grew up reading pilot comics such as "Buck Danny", "Dan Cooper" and "Tanguy and Laverdure" so I had a lot of fun doing this page. The Vampire, thankfully is an easy to draw jet.

Once again, Kraang Prime declares his custodianship over planet earth. And once again, the actual earthlings talk back against that said declaration. Leaving Kraang Prime no other option but to clean the slate and start over.

But his method even has other Kraang wondering if this is the right thing to do. And the mention of that method also has Renet spring to attention.

So apparently Renet knows about the mutagen bomb and the resulting desolate wasteland that resulted from the Kraang using it.

I gotta say, I'm pleased with how this one came out. Renet's outfit is a NIGHTMARE with that elaborate helmet, and all those clocks.

Hey Saiyaman, just wondering if you fancied the idea of promoting/uploading this series on a new hosting service for fancomics and fanfiction, 'Fanon'?. That's where I'm presently uploading all my own comics.

https://www.fanon.co/home

The work is so good on this, art and writing, it deserves more attention and I think this site's community would certainly appreciate it.

So the dice has been thrown, the stakes are higher than ever. Is Renet's nightmare of witnessing the Mutant Apocalypse coming true?

Could well be, if it weren't for the fact that Renet starts to see some glaring discrepancies between that timeline and the one she's currently in.

Speaking of Renet...

BOMBS AWAY! With all the female characters in my comic, I do my best not to draw them overly curvy and overly sexual. Renet, on the other hand, IS overly busty and curvaceous, she's also the one character in the series who shows cleavage, and a lot of it at that.

Having made sure that this isn't the dreaded Mutant Apocalypse reality, Renet sets out in helping avoid it becoming similar to that, by allowing the Kraang to detonate the bomb?

Throughout this comic, I had a lot of trouble making June's cockroaches look like cockroaches, in some chapters they look like beetles and in others, they were more like mantises. So, because I finally wanted to get it right, I got some close up images to get them right.

Oh boy, page 390, page 400 comes ever so close here.

There's this new TMNT comic book series called "Black and green", and I was going for that look here, it makes the detonation of the mutagen bomb even more dramatic. Been a while since I depicted all the turtles together.

Here's the cover for chapter 39, the team looking a little different.

As for why, well, from the moment I started this comic four years ago. I had people telling me, in a not-so-nice way, that I shouldn't do this because my art style doesn't fit this kind of superhero comic. But there were also a lot of comments which said that my art style hasn't gotten better in the last 25 years since I started posting my stuff online.

- "Garbage, 300-plus pages of garbage."
- "Just stop it, your art looks like something a first-grader would draw!"
And all that business.

So, to troll those people, I drew this one rough and colored it sloppily, using old, nearly empty, felt tip pens, the kind you'd find in an elementary school.

Renet is strangely at peace with the mutagen bomb detonating, but does she know something that the others don't?

And boy, "Gator tooth sphere" is back and back with a vengeance.

For the longest time, I was thinking of combining Firelord Ozai with somebody crazy from the Dragon Ball Z universe, but I couldn't decide on whom.

My first choice was Chaozu, which when I brought it to friends they deemed to be "Inspired." But I needed it to be someone even crazier, even further removed from Ozai, and all of a sudden I had it: Yajirobe!

And yes, he too got a whale name: "Musculus" comes from "Baleanoptera Musculus" which is the Latin name for Blue Whale

So what is Renet's deal, why is she so hell-bent on having the mutagen bomb detonate, has she gone nuts?

Turns out that the mutagen bomb indeed needed to explode, just not in this time.

Okay, the gloves are off and Kirby sure has a HUGE score to settle with the Kraang.
- His wife was experimented upon and lost her life.
- During the mutagen spill he was mutated
- He was mutated by Kraang Prime directly and subsequently enslaved by them.

But shells fired from a DeHavilland DH-100 Vampire Jet fighter's onboard guns, surely wouldn't be able to bring Kraang Prime down, would they?

Well, they aren't your normal shells...

So those special shells, what do they do?

And do they have the desired results?

So what did the special shells do to Kraang Prime, well to quote Yarruhk in page 222 "Killing you is too easy."before mutating Kraang Subprime into a human girl with the looks of the Irma robot.

And hey, if it can be used once, why not use it again?

Yeah, that opening line in that first panel comes from Pink Floyd's classic "Comfortably numb" I figured it would be fun to include it here.

So, it has been done, Kraang Prime has been defeated, time to wrap things up and let everything go back to normal. But of course nothing is ever that simple. Certainly, that mutagen bomb was a very clear wake-up call.

Speaking of which, where DID Renet send that thing to?

So Kraang Prime is hauled off to jail, but there's somebody waiting there for her.

Remember when Yarruhk told Kraang Subprime that killing her would be "Too easy" and how welcoming the Tanaka sisters were after Kraang Subprime was teleported to Japan?

Here's the result of their hospitality.

So the war is over, the Kraang are defeated, now it's time to rest up, take a load off, make new plans.

So while Kraang Subprime is about to even the score with Kraang Prime, Donnie seizes the moment.

Boy, Kraang Subprime looks freaky with all those scars, broken eye and missing finger, doesn't she? The Tanaka sisters sure weren't going easy on her.

As the war finally ends and the action winds down, there are plans to be made, which is also the case for our friendly neighbourhood Karai-clone, who decides to go corporate with Baxter Stockman's designs.

Yeah, one of my concept sketches for Yarruhk shows her wearing a business suit, I figured it was time to display it.

And here we are FOUR HUNDRED pages, I never thought I'd get that far!

As Yarruhk goes her own way, Leo and Karai go theirs, which leads them to Karai's house in the subs of Tokyo where Bebop and Rocksteady have been watching little Yoko for them.

And hearing what Leo and Karai are planning to do next, decide that getting married isn't a bad idea at all. (Come on, we all saw that coming, be honest.)

As I said on the page where Yarruhk calls up Baxter Stockman's mom to inform her of his death, I like the way in the 2003 series episode "Insane in the membrane" fleshed out the relationship Baxter had with his mother.

Well, here she is once again.

As Leo and Karai are off to Japan to prepare their wedding, back in NYC, Yarruhk finds herself in a church, confronting a person who Baxter Stockman held very dear.

Yeah, this page and the one following it are more TMNT 2003 fan art rather than TMNT 2012 fan art, seeing as how Yarruhk looks like the 2003 Karai with her hairstyle. And Baxter's mom being from that series too.

And so the exchange between Mrs. Stockman and Yarruhk continues, with the former revealing that she knew all along about her son's criminal history. But also that she never lost her love toward her son and forgave him for all his missteps.

Okay, so what role did Baxter Stockman play in Yarruhk's life?
- He gave her life.

- Gave her his eyes

- Which also meant that he had to give her his blood in order that those eyes wouldn't be rejected by her body.

- Constantly made sure she never lacked anything, provided her with several safe houses and shelter when the Kraang were on her trail.

If those aren't things that a caring father would do for his daughter, I don't know what are.

Way back in page 122, when being asked by Kraang Subprime on what he would do with the money he earned while working for the Kraang, Baxter said that he would probably settle down in the French Riviera. Sadly, that was when Kraang Subprime decided to kill him right then and there. But apparently Yarruhk decide to make true to that promise Baxter made to himself.

In their many millions of years roaming the universe, Kraang Prime and his forces have made PLENTY of enemies. So it's not that much of a surprise to see that there's a lot out there with a grudge.

I can't be the only one who thought that the Nutrinos got the shortest end of the stick in the 2012 series, I figured that was something that needed to be addressed.

Well, as I said in the previous page, The Kraang have made a LOT of enemies during their reign of terror spanning millions of years and an equal amount of worlds. Their most dangerous, being without a doubt, the Triceratons, so let's have a little Princess Leia and Jabba the Hutt, for Kraang Prime and the Triceraton emperor, as karmic justice.

But it is Bishop who has the final say on what happens to Kraang Subprime, with which he has a well documented and very long-standing, and very personal feud. And he knows just the way to REALLY hit Subprime where it hurts.

Okay, time to address the biggest elephant in the room concerning the 2012 series. What happened to that other set of turtles that the Fugitoid took into space?

Since I had Fugitoid in page 404, it made sense to have the Turtles, April and Casey appear too. Kraang Subprime bring forth some facts that those Turtles were not aware of. Making them very curious to be filled in. But will they like what they will be learning from their counterparts?
