I have no idea what these things are actually KO'd from (though the general design seems to derive from the Good Smile statues?), but I super dig them. They even come with weapons -- though one of Raph's sais came broken, so I've substituted ToyBiz ML Elektra's weapons. Easily worth the $13 I paid on eBay for the set.

I find it strange they were labeled as "cake topper" figures, but I suppose they could be. I freaking love these figures and you are so right in that they look like the Good Smile statues! I was saying they looked like a crossbreed of Mirage meets Michael Bay, but you nailed it with saying they have the Good Smile look. Sorry to hear one of your sais showed up broken. I was somewhat bummed the base can't fit on Leo's foot. I suppose I could just file down the peg slightly to make it work. This little set is WELL worth the $13. I'm so happy I snagged a set. AFAIK they are entirely original sculpts, but yeah, based on the Good Smile statues.

While it says it ships from CA, USA...pretty sure they are coming from China because it takes a bit before it gets to you. Still, definitely worth it. |

I'm not sure whether I'm horrified or possibly tickled enough to go for the set!

Has anyone seen these 1991 or post 1991 TMNT bootlegs? Ignore the ridiculous release dates that store uses for these. Like many original TMNT toy line and bootleg carriers, the sellers don’t know the release dates to all of the toys. No one is perfect, so that is alright.

I love this bootleg from the 90s:
https://www.pinterest.com/pin/120260252520934403/ The 1990 movie did more for the franchise than some people give it credit for. |

I will never ever understand how bootlegs (and other unofficial merchandise like this) mix up different eras like that. (Along with often get paint colors, etc wrong in some cases.) But this is all over random enough, including being fold up Turtles (that sort of look like half a burger?) in "deformed egg(s)" and branded as "super toy cool deformation"...I sorta want one. lol

Thanks Shogun, I'm still finding things from years ago, nice to find surprises, it happens when you get old and forget.
Yep it was dead on, except just a few inches shorter

Looks like Wish.com has Neca Bootlegs of the turtles for $22.13. At least I think they are bootleg
