Apologies beforehand if any of these have been posted before!
NINJAKIDS!! *clearly not kids..* Thousand yard stare TMNTPTSD Tokka...war, war never changes... Comes complete with the tail that he lost in the war, and Tokka's signature weapon from the Ninja Turtles 2 movie: a butcher's knife. Move aside, NINJAKIDS of old, THE NEW HEROS (spelling, who need spelling?) are here now! But wait, the NINJAKIDS will not go down without a fight for the dominance of the bootleg school supply market..! And now the NINJA (space) TEENAGER--i mean KIDS are diversifying and going into the wallet industry apparently. |

The bootleg was a nice mixture of a Godzilla toy and a first basic wave TMNT action figure. The image does not load for me anymore.

These are most certainly bootlegs, yeah?
.https://www.ebay.com/itm/NECA-2016-S...cAAOSw0t9f7CNV No SDCC 16 sticker. Seller is claiming they are authentic Neca in an email conversation I had with him... Anyone know for sure? |

Going by the price, amount sold, & location (California, which, like Texas, actually usually means China) I'd say yes.
The single packs of these are gonna be re-released in May & only go for $25 a piece, plus they come with hoverboards. I'd hold out for those, unless you really want the window box presentation. |

Unfortunately, my favorite thing about them is the packaging.. What do y'all think of the Neca Mirage bootlegs? I've heard they're pretty good. |

For what it's worth, all of the NECA bootlegs are reportedly good. Some say, even more durable, at times. Often, the case seems to be that these are produced by NECA's chosen facilities, same materials, same molds, just, you know, under the table. There's probably no harm at all biting on any of it. It's not like NECA is deserving of loyalty anyway.

They don't make it easy for people to get their hands on their products, they take no accountability for the shoddy quality control, they use the absolutely abhorrent scalping prices as a marketing tactic rather than an incentive to get better distribution, are combative with their supporter base on social media, figures are produced in short runs, etc.
I love NECA, I have bought only legitimate product, but they, as a company, have their share of flaws. I can absolutely see why someone would, or need to buy bootlegs. Just sayin'. |
