Eminem
Grateful Dead
Pink Floyd
Justin Bieber
50 Cent

I could probably find more if I thought hard about it, but I don't really go out of my way to listen to stuff I don't like, so it's not like they're on my mind. So it's mostly stuff my parents listened to and/or stuff they play non-stop at work.

I really don't like James Taylor much, either, but it's not like he's bad at his kind of music. He just puts me the f*ck to sleep, and that's what my Mom listened to whenever she drank too much. Bad memories.

You killed me with that first one Leo...

I lived with teenage girls, so I heard a lot of the stuff I can't stand. Once, I dated a girl who every time we talked on the phone, she would play the same Taylor Swift albulm...constantly.

Kanye? Damn guys.

I do hate Drake though. Such a phony.

Don't know who else I "hate", but I do hold the unpopular opinion that Led Zep is overrated. I can exist m easily think of five way better British rock bands. .

I don't really hate any, to be honest. If I don't like their music then I'll just avoid listening to it, simple. No point in wasting time and my health hating on musicians.

Hate as artistic performers, or hate as people? There are people who are good artists but not good people, and people who are nice but still aren't good artists.

I despise artists if their art is discriminating and disrespectful against others. I do not hate persons like Justin Bieber (I do not even see him as an artist).

To hate such people just because they are successful with what they do is just a weakness and says something about the hating person.

I am successful in what I do. No reason to hate others when they do something that does not harm me.

Hate Justin Bieber? I just do not pay attention.

Far too many to list, but the bulk of them are modern "hip-hop" artists. The genre has gone to sh!t.

I've just never been a big fan of "drug rock" or psychadelic music, at all. Partly because my parents and most of their family and friends were always on drugs, and they were always listening to stuff like Floyd and The Grateful Dead when they were partying, so early on I developed a really deep-seated dislike for all of it.

I just don't care for the "trippy" stuff. And so much of Pink Floyd is so slow and meandering that I frankly find it completely boring and even a little depressing. It's just not for me. People can like it fine, just don't play it when I'm around.

As far as personal dislike of an artist vs. just hating their music, I do have a personal dislike of Eminem. A friend of mine went to one of his shows about 12-13 years ago and got to meet him afterwards. This is the story as she tells it. Now, without getting into too many personal details, this girl later "came out" and was always a bit on the "sporty" side, so anyways, long story short, after a brief conversation he interrupted her to ask if she had a penis. Class act, that guy. My friend had no reason to lie, so I'll take her word for it as he seems exactly like that special kind of person.

For the most part, though, you can assume my "hate" for most artists is strictly musical. Oh, and I'll add One Direction to my list, because my niece hasn't shut up about them for two years and is stuck in that phase where she thinks she's gonna marry one of them one day. SO I hate them both for their "music" and their horrific acts against good taste in general.

I find that their later stuff isn't very trippy at all. Most of the Final Cut I would say is more suited to the kind of person who doesn't like the trippy stuff. 'Not Now John' comes to mind.

As for artists I don't like, I would say Justin Beiber and Lady Gaga.

I think so, everything under Syd Barrett was trippy and they continued with that until they found that new direction with The Dark Side Of The Moon. Of course, psychedelic influences were still there, but not to that great extent. It went more towards Pop Rock. Wish You Were Here was a step back in a positive sense. The 1990s stuff, when Gilmour was "leading", has next to nothing trippy.

There are just different eras in terms of Pink Floyd.

The Barrett Era [1967 - 1968]
Gilmour/Roger era [1969 - 1977]
The Waters Era [1977 - 1982]
The Gilmour Era [1983 - 1994]

So overall, Floyd have 4 eras. All great in their own ways.

Anyway, back on topic

Ultimately I think the periods where Roger & David were taking the individual reigns were the best. I tend to favor The Division Bell & The Final cut.

I'm not going to make any friends with this list. I hate everything and everyone. It's too easy to hate pop-fluff like Carly Rae Jepsen, Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift. That's just manufactured music, its all business.

Here's the established artists I hate:
Aerosmith
Bon Jovi
Pink Floyd
Led Zeppelin
Yes
Def Leppard
Poison
Def Leppard
Great White
Def Leppard
Pearl Jam
Soundgarden
Rush
Tool
Kings of Leon
N.W.A.
2-Pac
Biggie Smalls
Dr. Dre
Snoop Dogg
Jennifer Lopez
Mariah Carey

Every Country artist since 1988.

Too many to list. The world is full of suck.
