I'm gonna enjoy mine while it lasts, I'm sure it will get repurposed sooner or later.

Finally got my hands on a 1988 Rocksteady! Probably overpaid at $135 (with shipping), but looks good on my wall.

Great collection and awesome Rocksteady! Im jealous as I'm still looking for one of those to replace the one from my childhood collection.
From what I've seen $135 isn't a bad price for a 10back on card. |

Hey thanks!
I love the '88 figures. Now I just have to avoid paying out the nose for bebop to hang out with him. |

Pictures of these have already been posted previously, but I wanted to get an archival shot of each so I can keep track of condition (and I wanted an excuse to take them off of the wall and handle them....I'm a child like that).

'88 Foot soldier!! loved this guy in the show. I always liked how they gave the Shredder and Foot Soldier '88 figures the same color scheme, I know it's not quite real to the show, but really made him seem like the foot boss.

Just an update, picked up some non-TMNT stuff recently.
R2D2 1980s Promo cooler turned trash can / hat holder (Go Big Red!) (Paid $100, local used toy store) Spoiler:
Local used toy store got in some sweet power rangers stuff, and I couldn't help myself, loved this stuff so much back in the '90s Power Rangers MISB Titanus (Paid $150, local used toy store) Spoiler:
Power Rangers MISB Dragon Zord (Paid $99 I think, local used toy store) Spoiler:
And the must have Power Rangers MISB Megazord (Paid $99 I think, local used toy store) Spoiler:
They had the White Tiger Zord with white ranger (I think it comes with the white ranger....could be wrong), but I just didn't have the cash. Picked up some Godzilla stuff recently too. My favorite giant green lizard (sorry Leatherhead) Bought the NECA 12" tall 24" long figure modeled after the 2014 movie, this thing is super cool. Makes a sweet roar also, haven't had the heart to take the batteries out of it yet, but I'll have to soon I suppose. (Paid $80 I think? Maybe 70....don't remember, Ebay) Spoiler:
Toho 1955 statue (modeled after the 1955 movie Godzilla), this thing is pretty sweet too, I wanted something to show how much Godzilla has changed over the years (next to the NECA) (Paid $160, might have overpaid on this one a bit, but I really wanted it, got it at Planet Comicon in Kansas City) Spoiler:
And we (wife and I) picked up a Godzilla poster, figured the three would look awesome on the mantle, I think it looks pretty cool. (Paid ~50 with the frame, mostly frame cost. Ordered it off of the internet somewhere....can't remember where now for the life of me. Etsy maybe?) Spoiler:
*Edited to include prices and where I got it all, thought some people here might find it interesting what this stuff goes for. Last edited by LeoLover; 04-12-2015 at 08:18 PM. |
