WOW, I can't believe how time flies. Can y'all believe that I came here back in 2008 asking around to see if a TMNT doc would be a good idea. Well it was a good idea and we made it, and then we shot a doc on Conan (not out yet), then one on He-Man (on Netflix), and then another one on the TMNT (also not out yet) and so on and so on. This year we shot a top secret doc (which is now not so top secret), which was a deep dive behind the curtain look at Netflix and Jim Henson studios prequel to the Dark Crystal. This has obviously taken up some of our time in recent months.

Some of you might be wondering where the second Turtle Power film is, well let me tell you. At risk of sounding like a broken record; we got stuck in politics again, which is often the case with docs like these. There was a deal in the works, the doc was edited and ready to go and then that deal slowly melted away and we find ourselves back at square one again. All is not lost though, other than the exclusive scoops that we have might not be so exclusive anymore once a certain show that shall remain nameless comes out soon. That said, the good part is we now have an opportunity to dive back into what we didn't use in the first film, shoot some more current stuff and get out a killer second doc ASAP.

In the meantime please come check us out on all of our social media where you can stay up to date with what we are working on and when to expect the next release!

I have no idea. I do hope the doc still comes out even if the interviews with certain people have been done elsewhere.

RE: mystery show

The only thing that comes to mind is what I saw a few weeks back. There were stories popping up about a darker TMNT show for Netflix. BUT I hadn't heard of any of the sites that were running these stories and the news just seemed to be based on the fact Kevin said he thought it would be neat.

They're obviously referring to The Toys That Made Us.

Hello everyone! Sorry for the looooong wait. It’s been a crazy few years, we have been working on a number of projects such as our documentary on the Dark Crystal Age of Resistance currently on Netflix.

While we work to secure a home for our second TMNT documentary we have started posting exclusive clips from the doc on our social media. Follow us at Definitive Film on FB and IG to see more in the coming weeks.

@definitivefilm

Sorry for the delay everyone! This film will come out sooner or later.

Thanks for the update. I'm looking forward to it. Very curious to see which areas of the franchise are focused on.
