I've found when writing my comic strips, I can cram a lot more story into shorter amounts of pages.

I assume those are your characters. It just hits different when you're writing your story and your characters. Deku, Bakugo and the rest mean much more to Kohei Horikoshi than some random hires to work on Spider-Man when he didn't actually create Spider-Man.

I didn't intend for my post to be a jab at all those guys, just pointing out that there's nothing wrong with short-form writing if their storytelling abilities within that page count are still considered peak. If anything I was respecting their work

So in some great news, My Hero Academia: Vigilante is getting an anime. Which I’m excited about.

Had the best “I am here” in the franchise.

I'm glad that Toga is getting more characterization, but …

Did they really need to include a boob grab? It seems … unnecessary.

Depends who's doing the grabbing. Toga does look kinda touchy-feely, wether it's actual desire or just to mess with her victims before she stabs them.

I wish that the series were more villain-centric.

Most of the villains needed more elaborate characteristics.

Do they not get that in the manga? Anime adaptations are usually condensed.

That aside, I really do need to get back to this series. Coola_Yagami and I stopped after the first couple of arcs/seasons for the anime. I was curious where things would go next.

The villains are very hollow; I feel that they should have more dimensional characteristics.

Speaking of which, I … was just not vibing with the latest chapter.

It seems that Uraraka only managed to make the current situation worse. Toga was already distressing her, and it seems like she's planning on attacking.

It's an unfortunate chapter.

It looks like people are quarreling about ships/pairings … yet again.

I'm fed up with the Twitter debates. I wish that people would just focus on the chapters.

  • The portrayal of the villains
  • The ongoing conflict between the heroes and the villains
