You made a claim that is genuinely baffling. I can usually guess the reason why you think something is istaphobic...but this? The only possible reason I can think of is because Mineta (who has been more of less dropped from the series) is a perv, but that does not make using his power sexist in any way.

Then why are you watching the show? I don't remember that specifically happening (long series and its Mineta... I only remember him doing that to Asui to which he was immediately punished) but...he is not his power. If you were disgusted by association...He is one of class 1-A, he is part of UA, he has powers...how many other associations do you want to add in there to be disgusted by?

If its twitter freaks, don't listen to them. They aren't fans, and are stupid. Iron-might is awesome. The last few chapters has been him taking what he has learned from all his students to fight *his* foe.

You might want to read something else instead...Shy is more your speed. Its like Green Lantern meets Sailor Moon. Its actually pretty good in the 30-sum chapters I have read so far. Then stay away from Twitter freaks

Lol.

I have seen the first two and a half seasons. It's pretty good but as far as superhero anime goes I think One Punch Man is better. I will start MHA from the start again at some point though.

Fair, fair. It has got wild towards the impending ending. I would highly recommend getting caught up for the new season where we are going to see the Amazing appearance of Star and Stripe, the American Hero who has a power I would think could rival All Might.

One Punch Man is awesome...I haven't got into the Manga for it yet, but I expect to at some point.

Thanks. Yeah there is so much to watch. I was trying to get through Hunter x Hunter too, but there is soo much to watch, play, read, listen to that I juggle too much stuff.

One Punch Man is indeed excellent. A bit silly at places but I like it. As for MHA, it's one of those animes that actually has a good dub in my opinion. I enjoy anime and superhero fiction so a combination of those is a win-win.

Sorry for my rant above - it does come across as misogynist. There was really no need for it. It's just a bit of a bugbear for me with SOME women. I should really delete that.

Then might I suggest...My Hero Academia Vigilantes? It takes the idea that MHA is essentially Anime "Superman passing on his mantle", where Vigilantes is Anime "Batman passing on his mantle" within the world and is a prequel to MHA so some of the Heros show up. So far I am thought Volume 4 and its really enjoyable.

As for the feminism stuff, yeah it does have some hypocrisy within it. I do love women but some feminists can be a bit much I have found.

I'm caught up with the anime, all 6 seasons, the 3 movies, and the specials. I don't follow the manga so I'll wait for it to be adapted.

If this show aired when I was a kid/teen I know it would have been my favorite series. As an adult I really like it but this would have been HUGE if it aired say in the late 90's or early 2000's when anime was much more limited in the west. I know it's very popular today but it probably would have had DBZ or Pokemon level impact back then.

Yeah, I am a pretty big fan. I have recently started collecting animu statues and I almost have a full Deltof of various characters. Nothing really expensive...yet...but I don't know 15 of the characters so far?

I don't think you are entirely wrong in this. Some of the major action scenes are difficult to keep up with in the manga and anime does them some major good service.
