I hope you don't mean "Getting in the way all of the time and being almost too stupid to live." Because that is what they degenerated down to eventually, and I can't see Nick Shredder putting up with that (or even his two top henchmen) for too long. It's why I don't think they will be clumsy or even stupid in this incarnation, as that would be too wildly inconsistent with the rest of the show.

They were already in every series other than Mirage. If you count Turtles Forever they were in 4kids too,

Maybe, but I would find that a bit hard to believe, unless Shredder really strong-arms him into an 'offer he can't refuse.' Steranko is fairly independent and rich, he has no loyalty ties or blackmail that Shredder can exploit like he does with Xever and Bradford.

it could even be possible that he becomes a thorn in Shredder's side and gains his own vendetta against him because of the mutation.

Steranko and Anton are my enemies. Why would i hire them ? They wanted to steal my hemlet and they hurted lot of my soliders. It is not like in the OT where they were in my side from the begining. These new bebbop and rocksteady wants to hurt me and i will never let them join the foot!!!

That aside I couldn't see this incarnation of Bebop and Rocksteady working for Shredder for reasons already mentioned, unless they do as a way to get close to Shredder to take him out.

Unless Shredder has Baxter put something in the mutagen to make them stupid. But I hope not, as we need a bit of villain vs villain. It seems like everyone else just lays down and joins Shredder without a fight. Even Baxter did it once he was mutated, although he was pretty much spineless at that point.

I'm hoping they team up with Karai, who I think will be doing her own thing. I see her forming a vendetta against Shredder, while also not returning to the Turtles, due to the fact she's only ever known the villainous life.

I'm no fan of that Bebop, but Rocksteady looks bad-@$$!!! Can't wait to see them on the show.

I like the overall look of them, but Bebop is a bit skinny. Their size is what would strike fear and their lack of intelligence would end up being their downfall.
