Taylor doesn't consider the Death Metal story 'canon' to his run and is ignoring it. I assume reality has been rewritten so they can't even remember it, just like when they married back in 2015 during Convergence which was also overwritten

If all books are still leading to at least a mainline version of Future State, we know Dick does indeed pick Barbara as they're endgame in that timeline.

As I recall, Dini started that about Poison Ivy originally, or otherwise it was someone else connected to the Animated Series line of comics, some time 20-odd years ago.

In either the Batman Adventures comic or one of the other ones based on the cartoons, they had Ivy state that she only ever got with men for "biological" reasons and more so than that as a means of controlling them since she was able to, but that she preferred women overall. So she basically came out as, I guess, "technically" bisexual but leaning towards women because she didn't actually like men. So if anything, she'd kinda be like a lot of the guys in porn, who are gay in real life but have sex with women on-camera for money because it's their job but don't actually enjoy it.

It wasn't a big thing at first, but that's also where the Harley/Ivy pairing started, and once the internet latched onto that pairing it became "hard canon" in the mainstream comics as well and then into other media.

So while it's definitely become more "in-your-face" in recent years, it's by this point at least 20 years old as an idea. It's not like they just came up with it yesterday.

It's only become more "out loud" in recent years because all of that stuff has to be front-and-center in every bit of media or else people yell at you. Mark my words, if the character ever appears in another movie it will 100% be as a lesbian in a relationship with Harley. Margot Robbie is specifically pushing hard for this and she generally gets what she wants.

Dick gets knocked out and unmasked. I mean the story is still good, but he still gets knocked around too much. It reminds me of how every Spider-Man movie the villain unmasks him.

Melinda Zucco is indeed Dick's half sister. Unless there is some swerve, I mean I would want a blood test shown. Though it changes the reason Haley's Circus was targeted for protection and why John and Mary were the specific victims.

Tony Zucco is Sal Maroni's cousin, right? Sal Maroni was a victim of Two Face, but ever-changing continuity changed that. Same with Blockbuster II for that matter as it looked like Blockbuster I had reemerged with the New 52, but nothing was ever really done with him outside a couple of background uses.

Also, in the digital first series, Legends of the Dark Knight#9 & 10 just had a good story, Batman teams up with Martian Manhunter against Calendar Man who is using the Mars holiday calendar for a crime spree. No zany costumes though, its the Hannibal Lecter look, but he does turn demonic.

Was there like a poll or something that proves (or even suggests) that the number of "queer" people who read comics suddenly far outnumbers the amount of straight people who read comics?

Seriously, they swear it's not propaganda or "indoctrination" but that's sure what it feels like when every single thing in comics (or entertainment) is suddenly wall-to-wall "Everybody's Gay!" nowadays.

I guess the Atlantean population are all gonna be extinct in a couple of generations since they're all gonna be gay by then. Whoops.

Barbara Gordon gets yet another Batgirl redesign. I think its the fourth one in the decade since her return to action in the field. It looks like a merger of the Burnside and classic look from the Bronze Age.

Justice League Inifnity#1 (continuation of DCAU Justice League)

Amazo travels towards a door in the heart of Najarran space, he enters it to find a cosmic fracture. In another part of the world back home, New Delli, we find Martian Manhunter has long since left the team to try and understand humans better.

Meanwhile, at Metro Tower, It's Wally's birthday and the Leauge throw him a surprise party. Batman is'nt so cheerful, Diana teases him about it, still interested in him romantically. Speaking of akward romances, John is still seeing Vixen and he sees she's having a chat with Hawkgirl. Shayera is discussing a recent meditative trip to Themyscria, but John thinks they're comparing notes on him, this annoys Shayera and she tells him off, but we find she is still deeply hurt and still conflicted over her emotions from their break-up.

Suddenly, a boom tube forms and Granny Goodness and her hoards attack. The League fend them off and with Mister Miracles' help, send them packing. Clark, as Superman, is still dating Lois and tells her about the adventure, but is suddenly swapped out with Ultra Man, who demands to know what Lois has done to him

Metro Tower? The last season we see there are different embassies reminiscent of the International era.

It's nice to see progression beyond Darkseid invading Earth. Hopefully his various cronies can figure out life without him.

Martian Manhunter taking on various identities is freaky. It was implied he was married to an elderly woman in the finale and this suggest he had taken on female identities?

Looks like Amazo set off an alternate Superman balooza. I don't know how I feel about it. Instead of random alternate characters I want to see Bat Rogues or explore other places in the DCU.

Demattis is squeezing in his International characters with Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Fire, Ice, and Elongated Man in his post-crisis costume.

A decent start, hope to get more of my wants before its all over.
