I love Shredder's 90's look, particularly in that last panel. I had an action figure just like that as a kid.

The Rat King sending demons after The Shredder? I thought it would have been cool to see Rat King and Baxter work against The Shredder in the 1987 cartoon after Shredder used them. This is different, Shredder possibly reformed and Rat King controlling demons? Wow!

The costume change reflects the change in his character.

I'm actually a lot more excited for this issue that anything coming out for the ongoing series. I really want to see what Shredder, Krang and Karai are up too after issue 100.
Also, I want to see the aftermath of the Dragon getting killed has on the Pantheon and the city.

Rat King while always a notable villain in TMNT is unpredictable. The pantheon seems to be various shades of gray, but Rat King is evil. Even Kitsune seems to be a shade of gray now because of her love for Saki and seeing she is her father's pawn. It is good to see him getting time to shine and like the Triceraton invasion taking advantage of the chaos of the aftermath.

One thing I do hope that is addressed is Zenter gave the Triceratons the coordinates and information to inhabit Earth. Next we see him taking on the orphans. Is this is atonement for unleashing the Tricartons on Earth?

Are the Turtles even aware of that? Will they ever be? My personal theory is that Zenter's enabling of the invasion will be forgiven (but not forgotten) when the Triceraton's presence on Earth turns out to be an asset in the face of whatever Null (and Maligna?) is planning.

i just had another of my crazy ideas, this time with the rat king. a carnival appears in the middle of the park and lita and the weasel sisters see it. the rat king is the carnival barker. gonna see if anyone on the 4chan drawthread will do this. thing is they don't know the rat king so they don't know the danger.

I'm curious to see how this plays out as Shredder being "reformed" somehow as well, and seeing how it affects the turtles. Cause isn't it Saki who is seen watching them from a distance when they all come back together in, I believe, issue 104? Plus, after the Shredder In Hell arc, wasn't also hinted at that he would somewhat look after Splinter's family? I may be mistaken but I vaguely remember something along those lines.

I'm curious about Shredder, Karai, and Krang but more so I want to see more of the Pantheon as well. Rat King has been done to perfection in this series imo, and could easily be one of the biggest bads in the upcoming stories. So seeing as the dragon is no longer an issue, I'd love to see how unhinged, if at all, each member could possibly become.

I hope that this is addressed at some point too. That's another part of the City At War that kinda bummed me out. The neutrinos were the first thing you saw in Part 1, and then they are never mentioned again through the entire arc. I understand that there was a lot of storylines being tied up and whatnot, but there inclusion didn't really serve any purpose from what I could tell. I'd love to see the fallout of the turtles realizing that the Triceraton invasion was set in motion by Zenter, as well I'd love seeing a build off the Neutrino inclusion at the beginning of City At War.
