Thanks for making the list, it's really cool that some scenes are straight out of the older comics.

Yeah it is neat. I hoping for a sticky on this since there's one about which episodes have which turtles in them.

great list Spitfire...I had an inkling that quite a few eps were based on the comics, but it good to know exactly which ones and how many! It's also good see that some completely original stories were amongst my favourites.

Kinda sucky BTTS never tried one. I woulda been curious to see something like the Savanti/Chote story or the Passing done BTTS style.

BBTS' main problem was that the whole arc was limited mostly to the Cyber Shredder/Foot VS Dragons/Splinter data acr that nothing else really took it away from that. Sure they had a few filler eps, but still... nothing like Savanti, Bishop or a new Battle Nexus to kinda draw attention away from the main arc and still be a poseable threat on its own. Or some new villian, the only real new character was Khan but he was just another Foot Clan Shredder flunky anyway.

The older TMNT eps had so many things going for it. Sure, they dealt with Shredder, but they still had Karai, Hun, Bishop and Baxter to worry about.

Cool list, but I did notice one little mess up. The ending of "Secret Origins" part 3 is similar to the ending of Vol. 1 issue 7.

I think the Shredder Strikes Back, Part Two might adapt part of issue 4 in the comic Raph is discovered in a apartment in the episode it's Mikey and Don. In the comic Mikey's arm is injured by the Foot in the episode it's his leg.

I totally forgot I made this post and still caught that a second time

And sorry to nitpick more, but you said "Raph monster design" for "Adventures in turtle sitting". But Don was the monster, but it is based on Raph from the comics, so I guess it depends how you look at it.

Cool, thank you for this list. If it wasn't for this site, I wouldn't of known about the "comic index", at mirage's site.

This post by Spengs on another thread has a few you missed.

And you should update the links to the comic descriptions (they're now on the Mirage Licensing site).

this is kinda off topic but not at the same time, i liked 2k3 considering they adapted so much of the books but personally i think they should make an animated direct to movie based directly on the first issue, art style, plot and script. but thats just my opinion.

Where did the longer bandanas originate from? The 1990 movie, or were they used in the comic books before that?
