I'm starting to think the exiled Triceraton regenta I'm developing for my TMNT is having some weird Disney Lead Syndrome in the motivation department...and I have no problem with that?
She feels like a mix of Simba and Moana...with a hint of Snow White

Conversation Starter:
Limping towards the refrigerator, Sasha thought:
"Ugh! I absolutely abhor these new headbands my parents made! They're too tight, and they chafe my cheeks!" Little did she know, she said those words publicly. Out in the open. Reeling from embarrassment and guilt, she hurriedly covered her mouth. But, on the inside, she stated this: "Agreed. I can't comprehend why they thought these were appropriate for work. So God, help me please." Furthermore, she affirmed her own sentiments. Last edited by Papenbrook; 04-03-2018 at 09:00 PM. |

how come when you wait for a ups package, it seems like they never come early. but on days you don't have anything, the trucks stop by the neighborhood at 11 instead of 2?

When your uncle in his young 60s responds to your sister's "Happy Easter" (with a pic of my nephew) post to FB unexpectedly with... a bored Nick Raph gif image. I have no idea how this came about.

Well, crud, our two oldest cats aren't doing great.
We may have to let the oldest go this weekend. The one after her is going to the 24 hour vet to get checked up on since he isn't feeling well.

Is there anything that Alibaba.com site doesn't have?
Found a "life size" (whatever that means in this case) "animatronic piranha flower." If I was rich, I'd totally get one of these for a front yard Halloween decoration. Spoiler:
Price doesn't look that bad for what it is, but I'm sure the international shipping is a killer. (While we're at it, I'll take the other one in the pic too.) Honorable mentions... also saw an amusement park ride listed, as well as kinda wonky looking life size PD TMNT statues that I'm sure count as the biggest bootleg figures ever. lol |

I keep seeing a member waiting for their account to be validated and I feel so bad for them! I've been seeing the name for several weeks now and their registration still hasn't finished.

As far as I know, Krang is the only one who approves of new accounts and he doesn't come often, so the registration process is often slow. It took me over a month to have my account activated.

I'm worried about snake. He seemed pretty bummed out lately.
I wonder if he's doing okay. |

Really, are some product warnings exaggerated...?
Bought a couple car cleaning/care products today and the warnings on these things... I'm thinking they're partly just covering their butts by exaggerating it, but I don't care for being made to feel that if I come into contact with it I'm going to keel over. Skin contact warnings are something to the effect of rinsing "with a lot of water for 15 min. Immediately seek medical attention." (How is rising first for 15 min immediate?) I wore gloves, but inevitably I'd still end up getting a little bit on me. And gee, so far I have not died or suffered any symptoms. Edit: Looked one of them up online and the official warning info sheet is less dire, and suggests just what I was thinking... seeking attention if there are symptoms. Hm. (Potential skin irritate and sensitizer, but my flesh is tough enough that it typically does not care at all.) Whole 'lot of good trying these products did for my bad soft top back panel anyhow , but I tried. At least my Jeep also got a new cool/pretty looking blue and white marbled sponge and a big, soft fluffy scrubbie out of it. Been far too long since it's had a proper bath. (Still hasn't, but one of these days.) |

Finally on the last temple in Zelda Skyward sword.
first time I tried it, I couldn't get past the odd controls. second time I tried it, I got side tracked by another game. THIRD time I tried it seems to have been the charm. I finally got the controls nailed down. the mini challenges don't seem as tedious....and i'm finally getting into the story. A week later, with 5 hours of play at a time...and should finally be done tomorrow. i think it'll be a while before i start breath of wild though. I'm just glad i finally finished it.

When you look back at something and wonder what you were thinking. I took my children to a fun fair yesterday and looked over at the Waltzers (not sure what you call them in the US, a ride with seats that swivel and spin very fast) I had a memory of when I had gone on holiday with my friend years ago, we were out drinking at the nightclub on the resort and I just thought, why? why when you have a light hangover the next morning would you go on those!

Even I don't know what they're called. I just call them "Nope!"
And yeah, why would you do that ?

I can't go on things that spin anymore, even lightly, not sure if that's a normal progression as we get older. Bigger rides at theme parks aren't as bad (spin less), which is good because with my children being at the point that they have outgrown the baby rides I'm going to have to go on with them next time we go to one. Ohh yes, those things. Don't recall a particular name, there might be various names for them here. Yeah, that would not be good if your head isn't up for it.
I like them okay, though I prefer their cousin the Tilt-a-Whirl. Although in the case of the Waltzers, or whatever we call them, I'm likely to watch and try to pick one that doesn't seem to spin as fast or as much as others... |

Teacups?
The kind of happy-go-pukey ride that you can control its relative spinning with a wheel in the center of the car thing? I LOVE the tilt-a-whirl!
